    I am going to podcast the way that I podcast and that's it....from the cuff ..ad lib....no script .and I know...NOT everyone is going to like it......and maybe it is a fault of mine to even entertain the critique with a response...and honestly..I have heard worse from my #1 "lessoner" If anything I have tried to stay away from podcasting about Harmony Gold/Tommy Yune because it is beating a dead horse..it's BORING as a subject because it's common knowledge the sorry state of the franchise...but this comic though just really outdid itself in just how it's just another example of how Yune can't tell a story.... I did it on a whim...and maybe I'll do it again for issue #2....and we'll go through this ALL OVER again.....for now...my focus is on my main project.... Saying I was ignorant about the facts was what set me off to respond to you and I accept your apology.... I'm not going to argue that all fan productions are deserving of high praise....however...works like ChrisK's art along with Valkyrie Project are above the bar that HG has set for Robotech....Yune sets the level of standards and expectations so low...that the "marks" think that another DVD set or a calendar have saved the franchise... Chris's art tells a story in each of his works.....and nothing needs to be written....that's talent... And Valkyrie Project....look what a little effort produces......can you HONESTLY say that effort was done for Love Live Alive AND Robotech-Voltron? I like them because they are quality product....not as an affront to HG...they do that to themselves enough already..... And point taken...your words are not meant to be hateful..I just have that "Marty McFly tick" some times Thanks!

    One, the fact my review made it here in these anti-Robotech waters wasn't my idea...WHY submit people here to such pain and suffering? Tommy and Steve are brothers....Tommy added the "e" on his own....so look into your OWN ignorance before declaring someone else's... My criticisms of Harmony Gold/Tommy, etc. are based on what they have produced or in most cases, recycled....and it's not good.....and when it comes to fan art or productions....they work with the resources they have and while they won't be seeing an Oscar for what's produced....you put some of that fan work up against Yune's "efforts" and yeah...those guys deserve kudos for putting themselves out there and not even for a paycheck. And if I WERE a fanboy....I'd be demanding Yune be fired....calling HG offices.....or by the same token jumping up and down by everything HG does saying "take my money!" And the examples I have listed...are things that I have seen the from what I like to call "Marks" in the Robotech fandom ......and it's creepy. I made clear in the podcast...got the DVDs, pre Yune comics, RPGS and of course the novels...and I'm good. Shadow Chronicles, LLA,,,Shadow Rising..the crossover comic..and the Trio in L.A.......they are the comedic part of the franchise.... And yes, it may seem I don't take criticism to my podcasting well.....but hey, if you have the right to your criticism...I have my right to a retort to it... But I think my best response to it should be. is NO response...and to simply keep on podcasting...amazing how people get angry or annoyed about it....

    *SHRUG*....your answer says it all that you're the one that can't handle criticism....and mine came after reading all your post....not just after two words... Let's just leave it that we have both have our own opinions on this and the back and forth is over with. Take care!

    Your critique is based on "I turned it off after about 32 seconds"....so you really didn't hear all of it..you say that "your review came across as awful"........after 32 seconds?..If you can predict everything I said on it in that time frame....kudos to your ESP! And sure I welcome opinions.... doesn't hurt my feelings...I just exercised my right to respond to you....that's what seems to bother you it looks like...you thought 32 seconds was crap...I thought your critique was crap...so I guess we're even...and all is well. Happy New Year!

    Yune simply can't write a Robotech story......that's why I am holding out for my friend Bill Spangler to as least finish it into something respectable starting in issue three when he's involved.... The art work inside is "ok" at best.....Yune's cover art...totally blows.... Corny jokes.....the mention of the Masterpiece Veritech to me was just Yune wanting to finally include himself, albeit indirectly into the story....that was my Oh for f..... sake! moment... The worst part about it was this was a setup...not just story wise....but consumer wise......$4 for half a comic....and then this Bronze Man comic.....should've been offered fro free..... Then there's talk of a continuing series after the crossover.....with Tommy as the head story writer.....I'm not saying I can write better.....I'm just a consumer.....and as such...his writing sucks.... An yeah....I did take issue with Carl being excluded....for me it's about principle....if people take issue with it....that's...I've heard worse said about him in these forums....and I don't say anything.....those that know me KNOW I don't engage in the whole Macross vs. Robotech "conflict"...I just don't care about it and that's why until now.....I don't get into the debates about it......for which people have seen me as the oddball as for me....they both exist no matter how many people may hate it on either side.......WHY am I going to judge someone who hates Robotech?.....let them! Leave that to the Robotech "marks" of the fandom.

    I welcome the criticism...just like any other artist......my mic was volume was too high so I come off distorted......I didn't give the comic a chance as it was a first issue....I don't understand what Tommy Yune goes through at Harmony Gold......etc. The whole "Oh 30 seconds into it was crap".....well.....to me that's just the hatin/internet tough guy response....and that's entirely my thing....but like the guy that wants to call me or what I do crap....awesome.....by that same token...I'll respond..... And to make it clear I DIDN'T post the podcast in this thread..it really was an unwelcome surprise...I try to stay CLEAR of posting anything about my podcasts here except for except for where the moderators have allowed me to do it and that after I asked for permission. I know the general animosity that Robotech tends to stir and I definitely want no conflicts......you gotta be respectful in someone else's house. People will have their reactions/opinions.....but I too will have mine...balances things out.... I hope that clears it up......Thanks!..

    For the benefit that he CONSTANTLY visits this forum....Maverick is, and always will be a punk "MARK" in Robotech fandom, living off his "Paramount quaking in their boots." statements living in a world of fantasy. Additionally, Seto can tell you what the "LSC" in his s/n means. Personally, I always thought it was Loves_Shadow_Chronicles. It's a pure ego stroke with him and MEMO so it shouldn't come as a surprise. The whole "send an apology to Steve" is laughable. Again I ask, WHAT EXACTLY DOES STEVE YUN DO AT HG???? 'Cause maintaining Robotech.com.............PPPLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEE! I say what I have said many occasion on my podcast/blog.......EASY MONEY FOR STEVE. Those jerks at HG couldn't carry a franchise if it had handles and they made Steve carry it so that he can earn his keep....
