    Now watching Banner of the Stars. Great sci fi anime, but I as some of you guys mentioned, Crest is slightly better. Nevertheless all the battles and intrigue are awesome. Reminds me of LOGH.

    I've read a couple of reviews on Turn a Gundam (all favourable) and I'm considering making it the first non UC Gundam I watch. Anyone care to comment on their like/dislike for said series? I know that it's set in an unspecified future and has some unusual mechanical designs, but is there anything more to it storywise?

    I thought Orguss 2 was pretty good all things considered. But yeah, megazone part iii is probably the weakest of the Megazone. Having said that, it does provide some closure to the story, don't you think?

    Gonna have to break the bank to get me some Gundam Unicorn. Too many favourable opinions all around to ignore any longer!

    Finished Crest of the Stars. Though it was really good, with a good story and great dialogue. And its also great to see an anime were the teenage protagonists don't act like a bunch of immature morons. Suppose I'll have to get Banner of the Stars now.

    Thanks for all the feedback. Have to say that so far I find the story pretty good, and I like that the guys who I thought were going to be the bad guys, are actually.... pretty nice so far.

    Started watching Crest of the Stars after reading a couple of favourable reviews. The character designs are really lousy but it seems the story has a lot of potential. Any fans here in MW?

    Finished Zeta a New Translation and I'd have to say that I agree with you. While it retains 99% of the TV series storyline the 1% they do change, Other than that, I'd have to say that I was a bit surprised about how little of the storline was changed though. I also expected a lot more new animation. Still really enjoyable set of films.

    It actually does look like it! At first I though it was just based on a Sukhoi-Su 27, but then the thusters do look like somthing out of Macross. Maybe Kawamori-san worked on the video?

    Ha, ha. yeah, ZZ is one funny beast in the Gundam lineup to be sure. And yeah, I am aware that the movie ending and the tv series endings are a bit different so I'm REALLY looking forward to it. So please use spoiler tags people if you have anything specific to say on the issue.

    Just ordered my from HLJ. Can't wait to have it in my hands. No here's to hoping that Customs doesn't hit me too hard. They tend to overlook books but are absolutely ruthless with nearly everything else...

    have it actually lying around somewhere and will probably check it out once I'm done with my Gundam ultra marathon. Speaking of which I'm watching Zeta A New Translation. Great to see to such a fantastic story looking so pretty.

    Watching Zeta A New Translation. Love the new animation and scenes, although for some reason all the old stuff looks a bit grainy. But nowhere near enough to be distracting. Hope to see the last 2 movies by the end of the week.
