  1. That is a different base than the YF-21's stand base. I think this could be fake though, this would be plastered all over net right?
  2. The mold looks the same to me, the only difference is a way higher price and the stand. I guess we will have to wait and see what Arcadia says.
  3. Just make sure you pack a sleeping bag and maybe a tent and you will be OK.
  4. Sounds like risky risky business...
  5. Personally I would prefer a PT toy. I think the wing glove idea is the most logical also.
  6. Not really for this scheme either but I did order one. I kinda see it as the VF-1 that bridges Yamato and Arcadia.
  7. Yeah it did seem rather long. The price was not bad either compared to NY or even some smaller shops in JP.
  8. Someone here said they got a refund from NY before on a pre-order, just can't remember the details.
  9. Nice I got one. I guess that bring me back to 3 on pre-order.
  10. LOL, you don't have to say "Request cancellation found at better price and purchased.". If anything I would think that would be more insulting than anything. You can cancel via facebook or you can leave a message in the box on your order on the site. I canceled by using the site and said "I need to cancel this order with a thank you and my signature.
  11. Haha wall of text for the wrong reasons. What's wrong with multiples? I really am going to display them in groups and formations. I currently need to buy some displays badly as all my other cabinets are full. I also think it's a good idea to keep a spare around if you can afford it. It can be used if you have a catastrophic failure with your main toy or toys and you get the added not bonus of spare parts for your others.
  12. I will eventually put all of mine back into fighter mode. I want to display them with Alto's 171 in some formation or another.
  13. I guess you are right in a way, as I actually prefer Go Lion over Voltron anyway. I did find my way to Macross via Transformers and Robotech though. They still need to just stop it though.(HG)
  14. Loop

    DX Chogokin Super VF-27

Missed it, but I got one in for a bit cheaper at HLJ. I think I only need one of these anyways.
  15. Technically that's a TV Hiakru
  16. HG needs to stop. I think it's time to hang up the saddle and go to pasture. Stop frakking with my child hood memories!
  17. I skipped all of the v1's but had to get the renewals. I felt it would be years before a competitor would be making Mac F stuff. I think they have put out a decent product overall. I would have not done it though if say Yamato would have had the license. But you can't have it all I guess. I guess they have the corporate mentality of doing no wrong. They are just so damn large and have so many lines that they probably don't have time to deal with us peasants lol.
  18. Win! Chi Chi Chi Baldoza....
  19. I really don't feel bad for canceling the NY ones. They were 21,000¥ each and the shipping was not cheap either. I have already paid them well over what I should have in the past, I payed out the 455 for the VF-171 CF's. I really feel like they punish you for pre-ordering. These are not as hard to get as we suspect, I had to go off the beaten path to get them at a semi reasonable price. The markup was so extreme, I could get 3 for the price of 2. NY will be OK after all, my 2 pre-orders won't put them out of business and any respectful retailer is OK with you changing your mind. I still have plenty of pre-orders on NY that I am not going to cancel at all as I got a decent price on the items. I am just tired of paying them a premium and then days later they put the same item on sale. I refuse to take the blame for these being hard to get. I blame the freaking scalpers that are using bots or whatever means to snap them all up and then Ebay/Yahoo Japan Auction them off for extreme mark ups. To tell the truth it actually has been looking like most of the scalpers are JP based to begin with. Agree or disagree, but the consumer is all that matters in the end. We should have the right to change our minds before taking a big one up the 455. The policy on their site is this: If you want to cancel, make sure you do it before the invoice request is sent. If they send the invoice and you fail to pay or cancel, they will kill all of your other pre-orders and possibly close the account. If they were so concerned about this, they could have said "No Cancellations". I have made orders through a friend in Japan that actually state that no cancellations can be made once you pre-order, and obviously I am stuck and have to pay them off. I think I would rather pay a deposit on the items I want from NY and get a good price VS getting the pre-order in for free then paying out the 455. It is pretty much gauranteed that I will get 1x if not mutiples of the DX chogokins or Yamato/Arcadia releases. I buy them all, when you do the math on my collection it really is making sense to get the best deal and service that I can on my purchases.
  20. Well the first gimmick that comes to mind is fully articulated vegetation LOL.
  21. That's what I was hoping for, when I thought about it hard. They have the YF-19 coming and Yamato did not do a Ghost X-9, I hope they answer my prayers on that.
  22. I actually ended up cancelling all of my NY 25F's. I found some searching the JP web that saved me an additional $50 bucks each, but I have to send it to my friend in Japan then he can fwd it to me. I really hope one of the the web shops has extra though as I will get 1x more if they are at or below MSRP bringing my grand total of vf-25F's to 4 even though I really only need 3. I need valk anonymous help
  23. Damn I was only able to look at a few reviews on a couple of Japanese websites and gathered it was happening, but I had to use translate and sometimes it became unclear. Do you know if Bandai has acknowledged the problem? and what are they doing about it?
  24. Yeah I am way excited about this release. Even more so than the Alto YF-29. I am soooo glad they are giving us the hard points that this thing deserves. I wonder why bandai left the hard points off of all the releases they made? The VF-25 has hard points, but the toys are missing them and the VF-171 you had to buy the Super Parts and swap the wings. I think Arcadia will do fine if they pace the releases and maybe hit better price points. If they can do that I think the audience will be bigger. I pay for the things love, so I can't be too bothered if this thing is going to cost a lot. Not sure, it looks like a ghost to me. Bandai has sold the Frontier license before, is there any chance Arcadia is getting it? they keep dropping those damn hints. I hope they wait though, as I spent a ton so far on DX renewals lol.
