While I think you're basically right, I also think the use of the word “deconstruction” has evolved to mean the opposite as well, e.g. the construction of something that can be read by observing its constitutive parts separately, as was the 90´s architectural style Deconstructivism. Having said that, I don’t think there isn’t any deconstruction regarding Basara because he’s showed in a very one dimensional way along the whole show.

I would say the only v.1 DX VF-25F I own was really meh! but I guess it doesn’t count since I did knew about its shortcomings when I decided to buy it for customization.

I think the biggest sin of Bandai was they PREMEDITATEDLY DISREGARDED ALL THE AVAILABLE CG DATA, made the effort of designing a toy with different proportions and then thought we wouldn’t mind. Unfortunately for them we did mind, because at the same time they released the 1/72 kit with its almost perfect sculpt, so we knew it wasn’t the only way to make the toy but the laziest one. I’m sure some people will tell me the DX toys line and the 1/72 kits were developed by different departments and I’ll answer to that saying that, even realizing one of those departments was more gifted than the other –and I can’t believe they didn’t see that- they committed the sin of not having encouraged something as simple as communication between departments, resulting in a not-as-good-as-possible product. Probably the better way to say all that is simply to say they could –and they should- have done it better.

If Bandai ever come out with it I may put my Alto Durandal for sale.

I don’t think there will be a bundle because of the high price. My guessing is Yamato will release the super parts separately just as they did with the Sound Booster for the VF-19Kai.

Well, the toy seem to have the hard points for the Super Parts –which are not included according to Yamato’s site specifications- so I hope it also includes some means to attach the fold booster.
