  1. Yup, day one purchase for me.

    Yeah same here.

    Sega press release

    http://www.sega.com/news/?n=3875

In other news, the classic After Burner: Black Falcon for PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) systems will be available for download via the PlayStation®Store on February 4, 2010. This adaptation is compatible with all PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) systems (including the PSP®go system). Fly nineteen different real-world officially licensed jets during the course of the game’s 24 supersonic missions, and double the firepower in 2 player co-op mode.

I don't have a PSP anymore. Was this any good?

  2. 10k quick halos. Destroy everything in the train station in chapter 1. The train will start to move. Jump on and ride through the tunnel, you'll get 10K halos. Not as much fun as spamming the boss in chapter VII but good for beginners who are just starting the game.

The patch fixed a few things..I think. Yeah the loading times are cut down but it seems like the game plays faster and some of the screen tearing has been reduced.

  3. For the most part this game is great. The trial by death gameplay in a few spots can get irritating. But the actual combat system is awesome. Boss battles are over the top. Definitely one of the best new characters I've seen in along time . She should be a cosplay standard for awhile

Enjoying Bayonetta much more than DMC4 but not as much as Ninja Gaiden Sigma II.

Bayonetta figure up for preorder at BBTS

  4. Not sure how true this is but..about Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom Ultimate All-Stars

One of the main anime we got more requests for than any others was Samurai Pizza Cats," he said. "There were a lot of people who wanted to see that. I wanted to see that, but we couldn't reach an agreement."

Another set of characters shot down by Tatsunoko were the transforming-motorcycle riders of Genesis Climber MOSPEADA.

"They told us what we could and couldn't use," he said. "If they said no we cut them.

  5. James Cameron's review of Terminator Salavation

“It probably didn’t get a fair day in court because I had to watch it at night when I got home from work, over a period of two or three nights. I think Sam [Worthington] is remarkable in the film because, well, I think Sam is remarkable in anything he does. Interestingly, I think McG did a good job in the sense…I think he was almost too referential to the mythos of the first and second film. He over-quoted them in a way?”

“It didn’t feel to me to be enough of a reinvention. I mean the thing we did with the second film is that we reinvented the first film completely; spun it on its ass and made the Terminator the good guy, and came up with a whole new concept for a villain, it felt fresh. I didn’t feel the fourth picture was fresh enough. It also lacked a certain stamp of authenticity because Arnold wasn’t in it. I mean, he was in it briefly, digitally, but that’s not the same thing.”

“I didn’t think it was bad. I didn’t think it was embarrassing. I don’t think he let the franchise down in some huge way, but I did feel some sort of unease that it didn’t go beyond.”

  6. I haven't heard anyone blame HIM for the movie's dismal performance

    Pete

Actually Terminator Salvation's world wide numbers (372 million) are close to the new Star Trek Movie (385 million). Everyone considers the new Star Trek a success while the new Terminator was a flop... it wasn't. Terminator Salvation did better internationally and Star Trek did better in the US.

    Star Trek

    Terminator Salvation

  7. no, The Matrix blatantly copied Dark City, which blatantly copied Magazone 23. ;)

And yet MegaZone23, Dark City and The Matrix are all terrible.. go figure.

Terminator Salvation was good. At least it didn't use the same chase time travel formula as the first 3 movies. I liked it more than T3, that's for sure. The actors themselves were too clean and polished. They looked like they should be wearing Affliction T-shirts. Also I would have cut the beginning of the movie.

The sound on Blu-ray is freaking awesome though. Demo worthy.

The man with the worst name wants more Terminator

So director McG recently did one of those BD Live screening sessions for the Terminator Salvation Blu-ray release (these BD Live screenings are really becoming all the rage). During the screening, discussion apparently turned toward future installments of the Terminator franchise and McG apparently claimed that he will in fact be back to direct the fifth and sixth installments in the series, as was originally planned back when Salvation was conceived as a new Terminator trilogy.

However, if you’ve been keeping up with Terminator news here at Screen Rant (and you should be!) then you already know that the franchise rights are currently up for auction after the company which owns them, Halcyon, put them up for sale to avoid financial ruin.

  9. PSN: bandit29

Haven't been playing online much. Too busy getting my ass kicked in Ninja Gaiden Sigma

So the PS3 slim is coming? The pic on that was posted on the German Amazon was proven to be a fake. I wonder if the new PS3 will play PS2 games lol. I'll stick with my PS3 Foreman grill for now. Heats up the room quite nicely in the winter.
