  1. He's also done quite a few new Hasegawa box art since the first book as well. Graham
  2. If Yamato made it, how many of you would be interested in buying a 'Macross the First' version 1/60 scale V2 VF-1J Hikaru? Please refer to the attached photos of converted Wave (battroid) and Hasegawa (fighter) kits, to see the color scheme and new head. Also as I haven't read the manga, can somebody please let me know if a new pilot sculpt would be required, or is the flight suit and helmet standard TV or DYRL type? Graham
  3. Heh, this is also getting some news coverage over here. Seems Chinese netizens are really ripping into state owned CCTV for this. Graham
  4. Tenjin - 'Valkyries 2nd Sortie' art book. 112 pages, ¥3,600, released 19th February. http://www.studio-tenjin.com/VALKYRIES2nd.html Graham
  5. Yee-ha! Seems like it's coming soon, 19th February to be exact. http://www.studio-tenjin.com/VALKYRIES2nd.html 112 pages, ¥3,600. ISBN 9784334901813 (Edit: Damn, link didn't get included when I originallly posted from my mobile phone). Graham
  6. Or Hasegawa, could do like Wave does with their 1/100 scale VF-1 kits and include the necessary Gerwalk conversion parts with the batroid and fighter mode kits. Graham
  7. So am I. I actually realy enjoyed the first movie. The fight choreography and level of detail in the final fight was amazing. Graham
  8. For Gundam, yes. For Macross, not so much Probably due to economies of scale and also perhaps that Bandai has never put as much care and attention into Macross products, compared to Gundam. Graham
  9. The CAD pics you refer to that showed the intakes compressor blades and exhaust nozzles in the feet are over a month old (from last month's Dengeki Hobby). The much newer CAD pics I posted on this page (just a few posts above your post), from this month's Dengeki Hobby (published just a few days ago), no longer show the compressor blades. Of course, that could just mean that the toy now has removeable intake covers, or worst case scenario, it could mean they are using the old VF-25DX legs. I doubt that is the case, but you never know. Graham
  10. It's not a YF-19 in that pic, it appears to be a VF-19S. Graham
  11. Haven't seen the new Anakin yet, but the new Obi Wan has been out here in HK for several weeks already. Graham
  12. Studied the magazine pics last night, which are clearer than the scans and no gun barrels are visible either in Tenjin's art our the model kit pics. Also sketchley's translation mentions the SV-52 Oryol has no offensive armament. My thinking is that the hip/wing-root guns simply have their ports faired over for streamlining (it is a racing plane after all), as does the VF-19ACTIVE. 13. Cool, I wonder how many clones it can hold? Although it's sort of a moot point as the chance of my wife allowing me to buy another large SW vehicle for my son is kinda remote (unless I wanna divorce that is)...Mwhahahahaha. Graham
  14. Keith, was it you who mentioned that one of the Gundam games had multi-map missions, where you could exit one map and fly onto another map? Hope MTF has this feature. Very happy with the mecha listed as being in MTF so far. My only remaining wishes are to include the VF-2JA, VF-3000, VF-5000B, VA-3M & the powered suit from ep 1 of Mac Plus OVA. And for a potential 4th PSP game (if there is one), or for the PS3 game, if they add Macross-R mecha and campaign and Mac Frontier 2nd movie mecha & campaign, I'll be over the moon. Graham
  15. It's only a 1,260 Yen kit, so you can't expect too much. Graham
  16. Release date is 3rd February. Graham
  17. MUF is a fantastic game. I've got 320 hours logged on it so far! Graham
  18. P, S & F are a given from yamato, so not really needed on the poll IMO. It really comes down to VF-19EF (Macross-R), VF-19ACTIVE (Macross-R), VF-19A (VF-X2), Remake YF-19 (Mac Plus), VF-19E and other colors/variations (Master Files). Graham
  19. Where are you getting that from David? I'm not seeing it on the lineart. Graham
  20. Well, if it's appearance they are talking about, they are kinda stating the obvious However, if they are referring to performance that is interesting. My best guess so far is that it is a slightly improved version of Brera's beam gunpod. Graham
  21. No, the wings slide into the wing gloves. Graham
  22. Thanks for the feedback Renato. I will definitely pass on this game. Only a few days now until Macross Triangle Frontier is released anyway. Very psyched about that. Graham
  23. Cockpit canopy shape is different, as are the feet. Graham
  24. CAD art from the new March 2011 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine. Basically the same pics as in thee Figure-Oh (or maybe it's Hyper Hobby) pics posted a few days ago, but bigger and clearer. Starting to like this more now. I wonder if the text mentions if it uses the legs from the VF-25DX or not? Graham
