IB has become my favorite Tarintino film. I really enjoyed the hell out of it. Nice to see the man produce something that wasn't overrun with overly witty and vulgar dialog, with a constant need for violence. I really, really liked this film.

I don't have ME installed, and I'd rather not have to relearn how to play the old game to get what sounds like a substandard DLC release.

Keith, they do that all the time in anime. We certainly complain about it here all the time, it often seems by the last few episodes of alot of shows that they clearly had no game plan when the series got the go-ahead, and they end up with a mess by the end of it. Then we get a few lines of dialog out of nowhere, and poof, all questions answered. edit: Hell, they did this with Macross Frontier.

Can anyone recommend a Gundam series/ova/movie that is watchable and doesn't require past knowledge of the franchise? And don't tell me the original show, I found it to be so badly dated that I couldn't get past the second episode.

I think the problem here is the price involved, especially with alot of us ordering from across the Pacific. It gets bloody expensive. $40 toy, there wouldn't be alot of complaining. $200, now that's another story.

Macross 7 is like Diebuster... sure, its "canon", but most people do not take it seriously. Max leads the way, all the way.
