  7. New pics of my Gakken Mospeada colelction. I am still not at my goal of a complete collection of every box variant, but its slowly getting there 31 out of 45 variants so far.
  8. Cyborgs are coming for us all... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091202/ap_on_...ly_robotic_hand
  9. I suppose it depends on whether you are a "glass is half full" type of person or "glass is half empty" person. I guess I am a "glass is half full" person since I am glad that we got two awesome toys from Beagle/Toynami. Thats one more large Ride Armor than Gakken managed to release back when Mospeada originally aired.
  10. I voted for Tarkin Bastilla was my second choice.
  11. Very cool! I have seen these on Yahoo Japan Auctions before, but its just another aspect to Macross collecting I can't afford to get into because there is no end to it and they are so pricey! I do have a print of a HAL Mylene signature that he did for Anime Expo (I think):
  12. Thats a cool poster, and one of the few FB 2012 posters produced. I have a pic of it on my website, but its not a good pic. I think some of the best Macross posters are these folded magazine posters.
  13. I'm confused, you have your panties all up in a bunch over a movie you haven’t seen and you are carrying a torch for an “Asian” property written and created by two Honkies?
  14. Yes. The one with the closing doors, engine missiles, and the "Crumb Bomber" nose art.
  15. Toys R' Us has Republic Gunship's for $49.99 and Turbo Tank's for $79.99.
  16. Oh, Man... I think I still have this tape somewhere... A guilty pleasure, definately! Evil D**k is the funniest damn song!
  17. "Bring Tha Noise" I think you mean Best rap metal album ever: Judgement Night Soundtrack To me, it captures the essence of the alternative and rap music scenes of the early 90's like nothing else.
  18. I just got into Sigur Ros. Freakin awesome. I had never heard of these guys and I am wondering where I was for the last ten years that our paths didnt cross... Apparently, they did and I missed them in two movies and one TV show I saw. Its like Sparks. I only heard of Sparks 5 years ago even though they have been around as long as I have been alive. Oh well, better late than never.

  20. I think Raven was just saying how he wanted to see a Mospeada sequal and that he would not consider Shadow Chronicles as a substitute for that sequal.
  21. Cool! I dont think its actually meant to stand like that, but it does look better IMO.
  22. For a time, George Sohn (Toynami owner) had scrapped the idea of the transforming Beta in favor of a non-transforming plastic Beta. Fan response was not very positive. I like the transforming Beta also.
  23. To me, this last part is some sort of crypto-speak that Bandai may produce a M&M gift set in the near future.
  24. From a design standpoint, the sculpt of the Toynami Beta is amazing. It has incredible amounts of detail and articulation. Compared to the Gakken it wins hands down in every category except one; proportion. The Gakken, though ridiculously lacking in the articulation aspect, seems to have been directly influenced by the line art perspective drawings. Looking at the toy from the side or back in fighter mode, is like looking at perfect 3D representation. The Toynami on the other hand has lower legs that appear to be diminished by maybe 20%. My guess is that since this is die-cast, Toynami intentionally made the lower legs smaller to reduce production costs. My only problem with Beta has been that the smaller legs gives it a sort of ape look with the disproportionately long arms and short legs I display them extended to compensate for this.
  25. Yes, I purposely extended the legs on both toys because to me they look too stocky otherwise The Tread is meant to tower over the Legioss as you see in the line art
