I'm kind of surprised they didn't use the 2009 Camaro concept...

I was wondering if anyone here uses a UI theme changer like StyleXP, WindowBlinds, or just a UX theme changer... I have a lot of visual styles that I've downloaded in the past... just never used them... any ideas of what's worth getting?

well, i found a little work around...i'm still able to archive files...so i've been archiving all my pictures into files on my thumbdrives and externals...hopefully i can do a full system recovery within a couple days...yay!! i have about 5gb or more in the my documents folder... well, at least part of the headache is over!!

so I can't take the password off my profile...right now, I'm using the useless HDD as an external to copy everything I can.... I'm just pissed off that I can't access the My Documents folder...I've looked around online to try to find a solution or a workaround to get all my photos...from that friggin' folder... if anyone has a tip or could direct me in the right direction, let me know!

well, windows decided to take a dump on itself and took the harddrive with it...i feel stupid that i didn't install xp myself when i first got it...now i'm stick with a brick that'll load but won't let me open internet explorer or even allow me access to the task bar...i'm really really super pissed off...right now, i'm in the middle of backing everything up...all i was doing was reading an article about a missing kid (who ended up being a porn star) and yeah, it crashed on me...i can't even copy anything over...it's really annoying i guess i'll have to get another external to back my stuff up...it's really a pain to do too...even with all it's flaws, i still liked this desktop...if i can't repair it, i'll just sell the damned thing... i think i'll keep my laptop configured as it is now...at least that way i don't run into fear of it ever messing up on me...altho, the heat from the new harddrive still bothers me...but at least it's whisper quiet as the old one...

The way my laptop was designed gives access to the parts that you'd want to upgrade...I have easy access to the RAM, HDD, CPU, ethernet/wireless cards....it's a pain to upgrade the drive tho...I took mine almost all apart, and before I realize it, i had parts all over the place...and the DVD burner I bought didn't even fit...it stuck out about half an inch so I'm kind of stuck with this combo drive til I come across something that could fit...

I just know the 1.6ghz Pentium M is rated to be as fast as a 2.39ghz Pentium 4... btw, I have a Toshiba Tecra A4... do you think I'd need to update the bios also for a cpu upgrade?

the only thing you have to remember is (most of the time) larger plates on a 5400rpm HDD will access just as fast as most 7200rpm HDD's... So if you need space, then go w/ space over the rpm of the actual HDD... also, I bought a new 120gb Seagate from CompUSA on their Thanksgiving Day sale...It's in my laptop now. My laptop is a second gen centrino running at 1.6ghz w/ 1.5gb of ram and XP Pro...I noticed it runs a lot faster than it's original 60gb 4200rpm drive and I got better battery life...my only grip is that it runs really hot while the old one ran super cool to almost no heat at all...my laptop's also around 2.5 yrs old now too.. btw, I was thinking of possibly getting a 2.13ghz Pentium M processor for my laptop, any of you think it's enough of a leap from 1.6ghz to be worth upgrading? I've started to do a lot of photo editing and music editing....I figured I might as well try to get as much out of it as I can...I still love this thing...

so we get a commercial but no prototype pictures yet? ahh well, i'll pick this up after it comes out... can't wait til we see a VF-11B!!

I know I've been downloading the episodes or watching on nbc.com....I would be watching them live if my dad didn't get b!tchy over his stupid spanish soap operas or "novelas" i guess the man needs some type of hobby

well, i would get the blu-ray version if i had a blu-ray player or a ps3 i've only seen an unrated edition w/ a metal box from bestbuy and a walmart edition w/ featurette....besides that, all stores will carry a the widescreen and fullscreen versions of the movie uncut, pg-13 version, and the collectors edition (which may be the one worth getting)

well, i'm picking this up tomorrow morning, i was kinda wondering which edition i should get... any ideas?

has anyone been keeping up with the newly announced ipods? apparently there's now an ipod touch(8gb/16gb), ipod classic (80gb/160gb), and a new nano with video support (4gb/8gb) the ipod touch is around 300-400 while the classic remains the same price (250-350) and the nanos will be 150-200... also, supposedly, they upped the size on the shuffle but haven't read anything on that yet...i'm kinda disappointed with the ipod classic, they should've made it wide screen...meh, can't always get what you want i guess...i think their main cash cow will be the ipod touch...especially since most iphone users it as everything but a phone...

oooh....a 19, 22, 21, 11, & 17...oh my!! that sounds to good to be true...and probably is... but i would like a battroid figure of any one of these mechs

so i finally got motorola mobile tools to work on my desktop...then the software crashed...i kept trying to try to get it run again...i think i restarted my computer about 5 times before i gave up and uninstalled and reinstalled it...then i tried installing the software on my laptop...long story short, it just didn't detect the phone at all...i'm just really frustrated cuz i put on some random ringtones (some i don't like) and i can't take the damn things off... i tried some other software and the same crap happend... this makes me hate my razr even more

the mecha from gasaraki is boring as hell (and ugly too) but i (and others here) still want figures of all the mecha from the series...

apparently, the V1S and the F8SV have the same gpu.... only the V1S and the V2S have matte screens since they're both business models... the V1S is available now, I believe... the F8 and V2 will be available in early-mid August kinda wish the V2 has a modular bay like the V1, but that's wishful thinking

as far as i know, asus still doesn't have an F8S page... i guess the good thing about the F8S is you can get the gpu in nvidia or ati flavors i keep reading at notebookreview that it's gonna be released in mid august...

I honestly like the black finish on the inside of both the Sager 2090 and the V2S...if I was on the road a lot and wanted to get a couple more extra hours of batter life, I would go with the V1S simply becuase of the modular bay and it weighs almost a full pound lighter than the Sager 2090...If you need a system that's light weight and more compact, the V2S is also a good choice, especially since it comes with 2 batteries from the get-go...I myself am saving up for an F8SV...the only thing i don't like about it is the batter placement...it's about a quarter of the bottom of the laptop
