According to the link posted by GRAND CANNON, Anime Crash was acquired by foreign film distributor Crash Cinema (Golgo 13: The Kowloon Assignment). It's well-documented, as he states, that domain names come on a first come, first serve basis. If he didn't want to give up animecrash.net he didn't have to (his hosting company should've known this, too). The only way Anime Crash could've won that battle is if 1) He backed down (which he did), or 2) Paid him for the address (which he should've done). His loss. Just because he doesn't want his host to get in trouble, doesn't mean he doesn't have to hodl on to the name. Hell, host it with www.portalofevil.com, last i checked they welcomed websites that would otherwise get banned/kicked off/sued by other companies. The company for trying to bully others around with groundless threats that they could in no way back up, and the guy running the roleplay group for letting them. He says the war isn't over, but he gave them everything they wanted and now he's waving around a petition that's about as meaningless as the company's groundless posturing.
