Druna Skass Posted May 2, 2004 Share Posted May 2, 2004 I want to make a red wine shade of red to paint up an Aegis Gundam and for stripes I want to put on my VF-1A's wings and fins. Ghadrack Posted May 3, 2004 Share Posted May 3, 2004 Actually a hint of purple might serve you well, too much black is going to give you a dried blood, very dark red color, I think you may get what you are looking for by adding just a tiny bit of purple to keep the hue from going to dark but still giving you that deep red. kanata67 Posted May 3, 2004 Share Posted May 3, 2004 I was going to suggest blood red with a purple wash. Wash it once lightly and let it dry... then see if you need to wash it again.
