RichterX
Hi I got the sound working on the emulator, have tried to play some Macross DYRL playstation game but the video is all crappy, will be in shades of green and yellow pixelated just like those old screens when the old Nintendo didn't work. I have tried several configuration but same results, any advise?
Wes
Get all the codex or whatever they're called - there's one's for video, sound, etc. For DYRL, don't use a 3D-focused one(they tell you in their discription when downloading) I think the one I used was software-based, or something It's been like 6 months since I have used emulators. It's just mainly dependant on your machine. Trial-and-error should have no problems getting it to run.
JB0
I should point out that ePSXecutor is a front-end, NOT an emulator. I ASSUME you are using ePSXe, as that's what the front-end is for. ePSXe has a fatal glitch in DYRL, in that one boss refuses to enter the level. Try using PSXeven. The boss still won't enter initially, but firing a bomb will "awaken" it. ... I hate PS emulators.

JB0
Well so far the bosses have been showing it is just the video that is all messed up... It's only one boss. The level where Kakizaki gets shot down.
akt_m
or you can use Connectix VGS. no opengl or d3d support, but has a good compatibility.
JB0
or you can use Connectix VGS. no opengl or d3d support, but has a good compatibility. It's also 16-bit color only. There's some nasty dithering in some things. There's also an update of VGS(AKA a hack) called Emurayden. Be warned it will reset your MSIE home page when you install it.
