akt_m Posted March 1, 2004 Share Posted March 1, 2004 i bought samurai-x manga from volume 1 to the end of shishio saga and i saw this character in one of the later volumes. his name is enishi(i think it is) and he sure looks like a lot with nekki basara, did the author have some inspiration on macross 7? However, due to Watsuki's tendence to borrow elements from everywhere for his designs (mostly american comics), I wouldn't consider it entirely an accident.
