Brown VF-1J from TV series

Going to start my brown 1/60 VF-1J custom and was just wondering if the scheme was similar to Kakikaze's valk or the cannon fodder valk. I haven't seen the TV episode where this appears so I'm looking for some help here, thanks.

Which episode(s) had the brown VF-1J's? I'm thinking episode 6 "Daedalus Attack" and 25 "Virgin Road".

I think it's the CF scheme with just the head difference.

Isn't there a brief shot of a CF 1J during the fighting within the city before the Macross takes off (and then folds to Pluto)?

I watched the series recently, and its the default CF colors with a 1J head.

I believe there is one also in episode 31 "Satan's Dolls". Kamjin kicks the cockpit out of one in his powersuit in the episode where Kaifun and Minmay go to a city and over look the concert hall. Then the Zentraedi attack. It's the episode before Kamjin has Minmay and Kaifun hostage and Hikaru has to rescue them.

So is the 1J head mostly brown then like the 1A? Any pics?

From what i remember, it was just brown. No stripes or anything like the Max, Millia, Hikaru TV. Just brown with the darker rim around the eye piece.
