Funny to see that the Macross Plus Collector's Edition (including both the OVA series and movie) is still remaining a French exclusivity.

It's even not available in the UK.

Maybe that's the counterpart for not having any Macross streaming on our local Disney+😂

The UK does have a collectors edition though through Anime Limited, which is also available in America through Crunchyroll store. It's not cheap but it has both versions in it. 

I know because I own it lol.

You're talking about the oversized ultimate box set, which was also released in France.

I'm talking about the collector's edition, half cheaper, same size as Macross Zero set, which is surprisingly only available in France.

I knew from the picture it was different but I wanted to clarify just in case someone who didn't know the difference and hadn't kept up didn't know there was an option (albeit pricy) in other markets.

I missed the sale on Crunchyroll for the Ultimate Edition. 

Any chance this set will go on sale again in the future?

Crunchyroll has periodic sales, though it's anyone's guess when such a sale might happen aside from the usual times of year like Black Friday.

Part of the "sale" was the membership discount, though.  You can get that part anytime as long as you're a member, though the percentage depends on the type of membership you have.
