Skull Squadron

At any time in either the SDF Macross series or in DYRL, is the full roster of Skull Squadron ever mentioned? I have a hard time believing there were only four members (Hikaru, Max, Roy, Kazakike (sp?)).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but in DYRL, it's Skull Team, not Squadron, consisting only of Roy and our three boys.

In SDF Macross, Hikaru is still part of Skull Squadron once Max & Kakizaki are assigned to him, right? I.e., it's Vermilion Team within Skull Squadron, correct?

Yah. Should be.

According to Macross Compendium, a team leader has 2 valks under his command.

A squadron commander has 2 teams under his command, for a 7-plane squadron(3*2=6 valks + 1 squadron commander).

And a group commander has 2 squadron commanders(did we ever see any of these guys? I refuse to acknowlede that Roy had a superior officer! ).

In Macross Zero Skull Squadron has a better organization. Five members with Roy included. Anyways, squadrons vary in numbers in the military. Some can have only 6 fighters and some can be full tactical wings with and without support.
