Phalanx
To all you fans of the FRX-00 Mave, I've just noticed something about it; I don't think this fighter has any air intakes. I mean how can this aircraft fly without air intakes? It looks like it's a non- plausible design. Please correct me if I'm wrong about this. Knight26
wait which one is the mave, again, the big grey one or the weird modular black one, either way both have air intakes, teh gray one has them inverted IIRC to what we normally think of air intakes, and the black one has them sort of recessed and hidden, it's a wierd design. Knight26
look at these pictures they clearly show the intake, it is a sort of chin in itnake with a wierd tongue thing: http://www.jtw.zaq.ne.jp/cfblg701/frx00%2041.jpg http://www.jtw.zaq.ne.jp/cfblg701/frx00%2061.jpg all in all though, yukikaze aircraift design, while interesting really are pretty bad aerodynamically and structurally, the Mave would really come apart inflight as it is under any serious loads.
