protostar8 Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Does anyone know if Yamato will ever re-issue (maybe for a cheaper price too) any of the 1/60 scale valks? I wouldn't mind picking up a 1/60 Super Max, but I don't want to pay the $90 Ebay prices for one. Thanks
robokochan Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 I seriously doubt it. It looks as though yamato is backing away from all things Macross. Plus the fact the the 1/48 line did better for them than the 1/60 line IMO. If anything they would re-release more 1/48's.
LePoseur Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 Actually $90 for a 1/60 Super Max is about spot on with retail isn't it? Starting to lose memory cells in my old age but wasn't the pricing 7999 yen for the normal 1/60 and 9999 yen for the supers? Then again I could be wrong.
Godzilla Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 Why? The 1/48s are way better and I assume more profitable for Yamato.
protostar8 Posted April 17, 2005 Author Posted April 17, 2005 I was actually thinking that HLJ was clearancing the Super Max and Milia 1/60 for 7800 Yen at one point.
Toonz Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 i'm still hoping for another round of low-viz.....with 1J or 1S head
cyde01 Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 What is this hope you speak of? And where can I get some?
Valk-1S Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 I was actually thinking that HLJ was clearancing the Super Max and Milia 1/60 for 7800 Yen at one point. If I recall correctly HLJ never discounted the 1/60 Max and Millia 1J. They did drop the price for the Super VF-1J Hikaru, the Max 1A, Hikaru 1A, CF and Roy non-fast pack, the FP YF-21 and FP VF-11, and I think also the VT-1 and VE-1. At one point the Max and Hikaru 1/60 were selling at 70% off to clear their entire stock for those two.
