kaiotheforsaken Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 ok i've always wondered this. on the 1/60 yammies the lower leg rotates. i never see anyone have it rotated on in pics on here. is there any purpose for it?
Lynx7725 Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Oh yeah, big reasons. They give you better posability and stability, especially in GERWALK mode. It's a great thing, and yes, there have been pics here with the legs rotated. The only issue is, using that joint is a bit ugly.
Skull Leader Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 yeah, while wonderfully functional, it's about the most UNCOSMETIC joint ever produced for a toy (next to maybe the dreaded swing-bar). Hence, no one really uses it. Out of 5 1/60s I own, I think I've turned ONE leg. Other than that, I've only messed with the pivot to make sure the holes line up in fighter mode.
F-ZeroOne Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 (edited) I usually only turn it very slightly to help the 1/60s stability in Battroid mode. It does help, but it does make for a rather unslightly twist in the leg if done fully. Edit: oh, wow. 501 posts! Edited April 5, 2005 by F-ZeroOne
