my wife was setting up our first Christmas tree and after i placed my startrek keepsakes in it. i had got an idea for those little Kaiyodo gashapon so made them in to macross ornaments.

Haha, how'd you attach them? When I did my Gundam ornaments, I just used normal ornament hangers and clipped them around any convinent spot on the MS.

By the way, isn't it a bit early for a tree? If it's up this early, won't it likely be dead by christmas? Or is is a synthetic tree?

The 1/200 and 1/160 scale kits also make very decent ornaments. Of course, unlike the gashapons, you have to assemble and paint them first.

Tree looks to be artificial in that picture.

Cool idea though. If you really wanted a geek tree, you should put a 1/48 VF-1s Strike Valk on top instead of an angel or star in that pose from the end of DYRL?

War machines on a Christmas tree... Hmm.

when setting up my tree, I arranged all my Star Trek ornaments in elaborate battles scenes, with the borg cube assimilating my santa ornaments. Yes I am sick in the head. :p
