  1. Hey y'all, I am looking for images, or links to them that show personal weapons in the macross saga. I know Max had a laser rifle in the episode where they escape capture. Any help is appreciated.
  2. I'm looking for pics of the GU-11 gun-pod for the VF-1X/P. Google was infriendly. Greg
  3. Hi guys I see on internet some cool picture about this Macross Freedom cross lino of Frontier. Any idea? i cant copy the url :S
  4. Does anyone have a screen shot of the VF - 1 with nose art and Misa sitting in the back? Alternatively, when does it appear on screen? I have tried the search function without any luck.
  5. I've been messing around scaling the drawings of the VF-1 Super from the Spacewings Masterfile. In SDFM Hikaru fired 12 missiles from each arm pod (6 pairs each) I took an image from the VF1 masterfile to see if it was feasible or anime magic There's two types of arm pods. The one with the smaller missiles staggered at the front, and the one with bigger missiles that are even on the front. So there's room for 12 missiles if they are 200mm dia x 750mm long. The one with bigger missiles seems to have room for at least 5 missiles of 350mm dia x 1m long. then, I wanted to see how many 20cm x 70cm missiles can fit in the boosterpods. Turns out, quite a few. scale 150px=1m; the scale bar turned out to be exactly 20cm (scaled) in thickness so that made it really easy for me. The exit ports are drawn a little too small at 22cm x 59cm Both exit ports could stand to be shifted down slightly but I can work with them where they are. With a full 3x4x2 magazine, feeding the exit ports from the outside edges won't work, but you can feed them from the center. Each horizontal 3x2 (6 missile) layer feeds one exit port, taking from the center missile, with the outer missiles feeding into the center. Each missile feeds forwards and then shifts left or right at an angle to meet the exit port. With one missile staged in each exit port, you can fit 28 missiles in each pod. If there's no center column of missiles then the outer rows shift inwards and the exit ports are fed from the outer rows, for 20 missiles with one staged in each port. This number is supported by one of the old models which I used as the basis for this exercise: 2 missiles on each side backed by 2 columns of 4. Thoughts?
  6. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy SIII roughly a year ago and as my first smartphone I've enjoyed the Apps and Custom Configurations, especially wallpaper. Like most smartphones you can use virtually any image as a wallpaper but I needed "vertical" images that could be edited into the 720 x 1280 layout ("if" I didn't want a scrolling wallpaper, which I typically don't). I also wanted the app/widget layout to remain but be complimentary to the image used without the icons obscuring details that would spoil the image. So I built them! We have a desktop thread, so why not a smartphone thread? Of course, some of my first wallpapers were Macross pictures but the collection quickly expanded into film, video games, music, TV series, comic books, DeviantArt, etc. Attached are a few of my favorite wallpapers for my phone. Share yours! All resolutions and smartphone types welcome!
  7. Cant find that old photography thread anymore so i thought i would start one, share photos and ideas with everyone. Last month i got a new rig which includes the Canon 5D Mark III 135mm F2 L and 17-40mm F4 L lens and went to Miami. Photo Gear by Eddie 11uisma, on Flickr Miami by Eddie 11uisma, on Flickr
  8. Hello, Just a little topic to talk about Mospeada line art and design... A picture of original line art (not mine sorry): I'd like to add pics found on Mandarake but unfortunately, for different reasons, i don't find them... Maybe someone could put them?? Mospeada line art seems to be rare...or not (compared to some others series)? We can find some mospeada sheets in japanese dvd boxset, some magazines, artmic book, EBs... Pictures seen on the web seems always issued from same copy setting ie but not really unseen.. Is it possible, one day, to dream for a real big book ( not only a magazine) who contains all line art of Mospeada ? Bests regards. akim.
