Most 2 favorite aircraft? Man, that is hard. I have a huge freaking list. Well, I need to narrow it down. F-14 TOMCAT -That is the absolutely my most fav fighter. It was designed as the fleet defender and it has offensive capabilities nicknaming it the "Bombcat" as well. The Phoenix missiles can shoot anything down in 100 miles. I believe that the valks are based on it. So I hope. Now I have to figure to which other aircraft... a. A-10 Warthog - if you need a tank division destroyed absolutely overnight, this is the baby to do it with. B) b. F-117 Nighthawk - if you to need sneak in to destroy the AA defense at night so you can use the A-10 to destroy the tank division, this bad boy does the job. c. B-2 Spirit - need to lob a nuke or the MOAB and you want to make sure they never know or see it coming, this is the one! d. F-22 Raptor - gotta protect the A-10s, F-117s and Spirits from enemy fighters. e. AV-8B Harrier II - If you are in the Royal Navy or USMC, this sucker is your best friend when you go on the amphibious assault. f. AH-64D Longbow - you want to ambush em, this be it. g. F-4U Corsair - Greatest all around fighter and CAS during the Pacific Campaign in WW2. h. B-17 - Bombed the crap outta the Nazis and their manufacturing capabilites. i. Spitfire - finest brit fighter in WW2. It was essential in the defense of Battle of Britain. I forgot one more... the AC130U Spectre Gunship... 2 words: can you "Airmobile Firebase"?

Cool. But I'd rather see it on a Yamato 1/48. It's a pair of Canadian CF-18 Hornets...as far as I now Canada has yet to purchase any of the E/F variant (aka the Super Hornet). Those are trainer F-18s.

Yeah, I noticed that as well on the 1/48. That means you need to be careful when buying on ebay. I know the 1/60 s were sealed. Since I got 7 1/48s, none of them were sealed.

My first valk I played with was Jetfire like most of you. I never owned one but I would like to have. Then I had this stupis little valk. Not really a valk mind you. Stupid plastic junk. Then I bought the the 1/60 TRU CF. that was my first valk. Then I bought the MPC. I regret I bought the MPCs... especially when I compare them to the 1/48.

Tomahawk, Tomahawk, Tomahawk! I just fell in love with that damn thing. It is that or the Spartan. Thos are the most versatile units.

I got some of the 1/60s and I was pleased with them. Then I bought the MPC because I thought it was touted as the "Masterpiece Collection". I was going to buy two of each but I was disappointed with the first one which I paid for full price for each. After I got it, I was not happy with it. It looked out of purportion. It still use the swing bar. I compared it to the 1/60s and man the diecast in the MPC were small. People had the floppy leg syndrome (thank god I haven't run into it.), oversprays, dry drips. After that, I started buying them on Ebay for cheap as in $50. That was before I discovered yamato 1/48. When I saw them, I thought I'll skip them. Too much money. When the low vis came out on ebay, I was like "HOLY #$%@ING CRAP! " hence now I have 5 and bought Roy and Max DRYL. I will skip out on the VF-1R MPC now that I found something better. I was disappointed with the toy but I bought them all for completeness. The boxes were cool but you know why they were MSRP for $80. They spent the money on the box. Not on the toy. With the HG licenses not allowing dealers in the USA to sell Yamato stuff, it just sucked to get them overseas. (Dont get me started on this topic.) I learned my lesson in this even though I smartened up and went to ebay. Now looking at them, they kinda grow especially if you get the Fast Packs. If you want my advice, spend the money on the Yamato 1/48. If I knew what I know now when I the MPCs were coming, I would not have spent the money on the MPCs. -Godzilla

Dude, I have that syndrome with the 1/60s but I stopped. I was gonna do it with 1/48s. I did it with the Toynami MPCs but I stopped that after I saw the quality. Of course I got 2 Max. Of course, WTH am I doing with 5 low vis 1/48s? All I know is that I will get multiples of Max 1/48 VF-1J FP. If yamato put out VF-1A MAx TV version, I will buy them and make squadrons of them. My very own BLUE Squadron. I know 1 of tMax will be MISB. Besides, I dont have room to open all of them and display them... yet. I know I will have 1 MISB low Vis as well.
