Wow! This thread has about the same amount of congruancy as one of Shirow's stories. I think that it's a master plot by him to get the next plot for Appleseed. From the start of what's he been up to ending up in chromosomes. Sounds an aweful like one of his plots. Or is it "plotz".

Well remember that he just came off of 2 stories after Applseed book 5 (Dominion and GITS Man Machine interface) and not to mention the Neurohard project. So it's not like he's not doing any more stories. It's just taking a bit longer to do because of all the smaller projects and illustration jobs that he's had to deal with. He also has to do a lot of consulting with The GITS series, the New GITS movie, the Apple seed movie, and the Orion RPG. I'm just surprised that no one has noticed exactly how busy the guy is. When I talked to Toren Smith a few years back he said that Shirow had enough work to fill About 5 Intron Depot books and that he has absolutly no time to edit them.

Doesn't anybody read my posts... There's a new Appleseed movie comming out next summer. All under Shirowsan's supervision.

I like Shirow's work regardless of the content I think that it has a life on its own. His technique makes whatever he does very unique. I think that he's just having fun with all the new stuff and that he'll eventually come around to what he started out doing. As a side note though... I watched the new Applseed movie (or at least a part of it) at the San Diego ComicCon this year and it looks stunning. It's still in the early stages of development but it looks to be be a fairly high budget and faithful to the book with a few liberties.

If so, then I hope they convert the D'Stance yf-21 to 1/48. That thing would be a monster.

Hey! Macross Plus varients would be really cool! Wadda say to some Super Nova test planes! That would make my whole macross collection! And don't forget the 1/48 Ravens line!

I'd say Plus in the 1/48 to make tham the biggest VF toys ever! They're my favorite designs and it's my favorite series in the story. If that happens, I'd volunteer to paint the box art for cheap(I'm a comercial artist for games and entertainment)! You hear that Yamato!

Hi everyone! This is my first post after 4 years of lurking around the site. My friend Peter (also a long time lurker) noticed not too long ago that John Moscato's Legioss project was cancelled. I'm wondering if anyone can shed a little light on this subject. Sorry to all the MODs if this is a redundant post or if I'm in the wrong section.
