  1. <_< ... I really wish this sale had come up sooner when I was actually collecting vf0s and my first vf-1 48 scale... The sales always seem to come when you no longer need them... I wish I could buy the vf-1 stealth but my finances wont allow atm... damn though I could make a tons of money buying them in bulk and selling them for high on ebay though...
  2. Here are some of the places that I shop at that are pretty good.

    1. www.gundamstoreandmore.com

One of the best online gundam shops around IMO, they have every model kit you can think of for gundam and are rarely out of stock on anything

    2. www.gundamshop.com

I dont really shop from here too much as they are almost out of stock on everything gundam related which is annoying.

    3.www.imageanime.com

I have bought from here a couple of times and is a great store for almost all gundam kits. Unfortunately theyre out of stock on MG and PG kits quite often.

    4.www.bigbadtoystore.com

This is a very good and reliable online store to get gundam stuff from, but if you wait too long kits will sell out quick.

Overall I think your best bet is gundamstoreandmore.com they have almost anything gundam related that you can think of and at a low price to, sometimes they have sales on their kits too, check it out if you can.

  3. IF I were you id probably go with the YF-19 first it is a great quality toy and so far I havent seen any flaws with mine. The transformation is more complicated then the other valks though.

To all you people out there that have has problems with your VF-0s I just dont get it. Mine was pretty much fine out of the box, sure the right are elbow joint pops off every now and then but its nothing major, most of the joints are removable ne way.

I think you guys just have to be careful with your toys especially when transforming them because these are complicated to transform you know. Heck if I didnt look carefully at some of my valks I would have broke them by now.

  4. I don't recognize the RX-78 Gundam in this pic. What kit or toy is this one? MasterGrade One Year War vers?

It is the MG RX-78 ver. ka, It is more detailed the the other kits and has a more slender build, Very nice kit though, it looks like a GFF once air brushed and with decals applied.

  5. Hey transfan how much was that Scopedog?

Also folks, I just watched the first episode of Pailsen files, the only other Votoms experience I have had before is from watching preview snippets from a few years back. Any suggestions on what else I should be watching?

Youd be surprised how cheap I got it for I only paid 120 US for it on an ebay auction.

  6. My first valkyrie was a 1/48 VF-1S and I have to say I loved it and still do. I dont know about the 1/60 scale though I have a 1/60 scale VF-0S and a YF-19 and I do have to say the proportions are slightly better with a smaller build and all. But for me size is better and although its more expensive I like the oversized look of the 1/48s.

  7. hmm is that the new gimped 80gb edition ps3 with no backwards compatibility?! pfft because if it is I feel sorry for you. As of right now there arent really any ps3 games worth playing that arent on other systems. The only game worth playing is mgs 4 for the ps3 on june 12th. LOL I got the cheap 500 dollar 20gb with backwards compatibility at launch. ;) If your talking about the new 80gb ps3 with no ps2 support then sorry guys you got ripped hehe. :p

  8. I don't want to gloat but that's just further proof that Yamato only 'gets it right' after the 2nd release or so. And the Scopedog doesn't even transform. I wonder how the Bubblegum 'Crisis' will turn out now.

I have noticed that yamato only gets the second version of their toys right which is a huge problem with the company to this day and with the prices they want for their toys sometimes the flaws dont justify the purchase. Im glad I waited for the scopedog 1/12 ver. 2, because after seeing how the ver. 1 was made I turned away from their products for awhile.

  9. As a huge votoms fan after purchasing the offical metal ammo box 99 dollar DVD box set for the series I have finally purchased my first 1/12 scale votoms Scopedog with paraschute sack and chirico cuvie by yamato and I am really impressed.

First of all the joints on the scopedog are superb compared to the old yamato 1/12 scale. It is a really sturdy toy that you can play with and move around quite a bit and not break. Not to mention that added decals give the figure alot of personallity and make it stand out as a real looking military peice.

The accesories fit quite nicely on the scopedog and there are no loose parts or flaws that i know of. Also the chirico looks really amazing and has alot of detail. ALthough the 1/12 scales are more expensive then the 1/18 DMZs you do get more quality for the extra money you spend. I dont have a DMZ just yet but I will get a DMZ scopedog and compare the two later on.

  10. I recently bought and viewed the official DVDs for the gunbuster OVA thinking it was going to be epic and aweinspiring... Well I have to say Im disappointed...

There were really only two fights I liked in the series and just too much damn melodrama... Super robot series are supposed to be about action, drama is usually an added bonus or afterthought. Nonetheless it isnt the worst anime I have seen but definitely not as good as say zeta gundam or votoms. The robot design is neat though.

  11. I could go on and on about the root to the rising cost of toys which to put it simply is the effect of of the increasingly scarce raw material that is used for everything from fuel to plastic, cleaning agents, fertilizer etc. Crude oil.

But I will only say this... the moment I cant afford anymore plastic toys or the moment the toy industry cant produce enough toys because of the economy that'l be the least of my worries. Ill be thinking about getting food to eat as by then gas will surely be 10 dollars a gallon or more. Which will put a strain on even the more wealthy among us. The best thing to do for now is not worry about that because by the time you cant afford or obtain toys you wont even be thinking about it lol.
