  1. Here judge for yourself(courtesy of the Macross Mecha Manual): Edited to remove the hotlink.
  2. Lol! That made my day. I'm still hunting for the pieces, but not very motivated. Perhaps I could reconstruct it to sit on it. Accidentally. Edit: I kinda pictured the exploding pieces to this song
  3. Well it was tongue in cheek, but it would be interesting to say the least. We need more parodies.
  4. Never liked its fighter mode looks but that's a pretty neat kit.
  5. Personally I'm waiting for Shattered Glass -19Kai, where a funkily tattooed Basara and his valk(also funkily tattooed) decimates planets with hardcore rock music about death and shitz.
  6. Actually that's not too surprising, I threw my VF100 VF-25S at the wall once.
  7. Exactly. Never get the folks who hate its battroid mode either. Think the legs are alright.
  8. Lol, well it seems like most of you gents know how to handle your valks with care and love. My wife hates it when I put my "toys" on the bed. The time I sat on my Gamlin? Worst timing ever, because we were getting a little frisky when it happened and well, I found out that moans of the grief and panic for a toy reeeeeeally turns a woman off. Needless to say, no more moans that evening. SO KIDS: Don't put valks on beds when you have female company over. Heck, don't put valks on beds/couches/chairs/stools/bathtubs/toiletseats in any situation.
  9. Seductive, but to the point. They're pretty hardy huh? The only damage to my valks so far is internal from exploding shoulders. The recordings would have survived if they could transform. The joints help disperse the downward force.
  10. So...I just sat on my YF-19 in fighter mode. I have a bad habit of placing my valks on my bed after i'm done transforming or swooshing them around. I then forgot I have a $150 worth of plastic bits held together by spiritia lying about the bed and unceremoniously crash land on them with my behind. The horrible "CRUNCH" sound valks make when being squished isn't very pleasant I found. Six months ago, I landed squarely on my VF-22, also in fighter mode. Now i'm pretty light, about 63kgs so this probably why both valks survived without a scratch. Joints were popped, "NOOOOO"s were yelled but ultimately the valks got through wonderfully, without negative effect ie the joints are still solid etc. This is why I love them. Has anybody else done this or worse? I rather hope this would be a lonely club as it would be bad form to keep sitting on one's valks.
  11. Picked up a VF-11B. was low stock when I got hlj to ship it and now it's backordered. Phew... Now what to do with my v1 1/72....
  12. REAL collectors have doubles of each item...so get to it! I kid, I kid, congrats i'm pretty envious
  13. Better than the restraining order my wallet has on me.
  14. This is probably premature, but any estimates on the price yet?
  15. Yes please, would prefer a VF, low-vis or black/dark blue to this.
  16. Conversely it made me think that the nose section is a bit too long.
  17. Just received a YF-21 from Mandarake Nakano. Was a bit apprehensive as it was marked "used, box damaged" but much to my surprise although the box is a little worn on the edges the valk seems brand new - the plastic bands around the wings and fins are there and seems untouched. No marks on the cello tapes holding the plastic shells together either. Now I just need to find another FP pack... I think with just a little internal mods she'll be perfect, don't really need a substantial redesign like the -19.
  18. I've got 5 of these birds and I'll still buy more if yamato makes a v2. I love both their battroid and gerwalk modes too, though I keep most of them in fighter mode. That being said, I'd rather they visit other designs because the birds are pretty good as it is. Retailers may be cautious in stocking up on these as well due to how the -22s have been performing in the market. Actually the only way I won't get a v2 is if they are glossy. Edit: VF5SS - they have ankle locks don't they? I have one standing in bmode for a year now without support and it's still pretty tight.
  19. I got the impression that it's quite agile in the supersonic flight envelopes.
  20. Nano you've basically nailed what I thought as well.
