  1. OK... Thanks for your input... I've been building airplanes for a long time, so I have those colors... I'll try with gunship gray and then some weathering, I think.
  2. That's it... What colors do you use for painting the cockpit interior in a VF-1?... I'm talking about the cockpit tub and ejection seat... and the cushions in the seat as well... I'm building a 1/48 cockpit (I started by scratchbuilding the ejection seat) and I want to know that... Thanks in advance.
  3. And what about Lobelia Carlini fron Sakura Wars? She is voiced by Kikuko Inoue as well and she doesn't sound like Belldandy or Kasumi Tendou... You have another example in Macross Frontier: Nanase Matsuura and Kanaria Berstein, they're both voiced by Houko Kuwashima and they sound totally different... Maybe that voice is Kikuko's, but I can be wrong...
  4. What about "Dragonfly II"? If there are Lightning III and Sturmvogel II, why not a Dragonfly II? BTW the Dragonfly is the Cessna A-37.
  5. Actually you can find pictures using Google, like this: Just write "Nimitz class" in the search bar and voilá... A 1/72 Nimitz-class aircraft carrier? That would be 4 meters long (sorry, we use meters instead of feet), and the fictional CVN-99 Asuka II should be longer. BTW, I've seen an Essex-class WWII aircraft carrier in 1/72 in a Finescale Modeler magazine (or was in another magazine? I don't remember), I think it belongs to a museum now... Of course, It can be done, but that will be MAJOR scratchbuilding and you might need expensive blueprints (I mean for the Nimitz-class aircraft carriers, if they are available)... Good luck with your project.
  6. That's it... That's the pic I've been looking for... It seems like the movie version is a lot easier to scratchbuild... Let's see wehat happens. Thanks a bunch.
  7. Well, It's me or the VF-1 TV version and VF-1 DYRL version cockpit interiors are different?... Can anyone confirm this?... I have some drawings of VF-1 interior and the conckpit has two "control sticks" one at each side panel, and I thought I saw an image where the right control stick is in the middle (between the pilot's legs) instead of the right side console, but I couldn't find that picture again, so I can't confirm that... Thanks in advance.
  8. Yes, I've read the whole thread, but I thougt that the official nickname was to be announced at 5/10 in the official web page, not in a Newtype magazine some time before the official date, but that wasn't the case... So be it... Messiah...
  9. BTW... What about the nickname contest winner?... Any news about it?... I haven't found anything in the official website, today is 5/12 and the contest ended at 5/10...
  10. Por supuesto que suena interesante... ¿Qué hay de un VF-11?... Tal vez lo pueda usar para mi proyecto a 1/48 (como planos o plantillas me refiero)... Manténnos informados sobre tu proyecto. Buena suerte. Of course it sound interesting... What about a VF-11?... Maybe I can use it for my 1/48 project (I mean as blueprints or templates). Keep us informed about your project. Good luck.
  11. Hey! Navigating thru' the forum I've found a top view and a side view... Now I only need a front view, I don't want to make mistakes in the tailfins...
  12. Well, I don't like the name "Messiah", but it reminds me of a Min May's song... what was it? err.. Oh, yes: Little White Dragon (or so)... Maybe the name was chosen because of that and the 25th aniversary... Now I'm wondering, what about the VF-171 nickname?...
  13. Hi, I'm José from Perú and I'm new in this forum, I've been a modeller since I was ten (I think). I used to build 1/72 aircraft, and now I build 1/35 armor (tanks), but I want to take a rest and re-take the aircraft theme, this time Macross variable aircraft... Well, I'm an scratchbuilder and I want to try this in 1/48. I already found good VF-11 and VF-17 drawings (even cockpit interior drawings... I think I'll start with the ejection seats and cockpits), but I couldn't find the most important drawings: Blueprints... did they exist?... I need three view blueprints: top, side and front, It doesn´t matter if they are not in 1/48, I think I can edit them and print them in 1/48 using some references... Well I hope you can help me with those projects and excuse me if this isn't the correct forum. Thanks a lot in advance. Most regards. José
