Beat the game today. The ending was entirely too easy. Oh well, so was Max Payne 1. Time for the harder difficulty modes.

IT CAN import regular Maya files. A commercial version of Maya won't be able to import PLE files though.

Nice review. I'm about 90% complete with the game, so let me add my two cents: -System requirements aren't as high as you make them out to be. I'm running an Athlon 1.6 Ghz with a Geforce 4 4200. While it chugs a little bit occasionally, it runs perfectly fine for playability. I have the details turned up all the way. -Max Payne 2 actually begins quite some time after the events in Max Payne 1. Max has quit the DEA and has rejoined the NYPD. -The game gets MUCH harder as you progress. The AI is pretty much just like the first game (which was pretty good for the time, but not anymore). So to make the game harder, enemies pretty much only start carrying SMG's or better after awhile. What happened to the AI's grenade-throwing ability? It was actually better in Max Payne 1. Nowadays, they throw grenades that blow up themselves all the time. -This game is basically just an extension of the first Max Payne. Nothing has really progressed except for the graphics. It feels identical to the first one. But why change a winner?

I don't believe Maya Complete was free. There was a free version available, but it was dumbed down considerably. This is Maya Complete with a watermark basically.

You guys realize that Kawamori played a MUCH bigger role than simply mecha designer, right? He practically came up the the entire concept for the show! What is he credited with in the original Japanese credits? Just mecha designer?

Because their release date says Dec. 23.

I bought every tape of the Macross Saga Perfect Collection as they were released. They were actually quite widely available. Every anime store I frequented had them in stock. Even the local Suncoast carried them. They could be ordered from Diamond.

Most of the TEST PS2's being made nowadays are refurbished PS2's that were returned for having some form of defect. These things almost always break after awhile. The original PS1 test systems (blue PS1) was built from refurbished units as well.

We have Test PS2 systems (kinda of like dev stations) at the office. They play burns and Japanese games.

That's not the problem. People have posted pics that are over 1200 pixels wide and they work fine. 600 pixels wide is a rule of thumb to be polite.

It happened to one of my posts, and no amount of refreshing would bring the whole image in. The funny was that I viewed the image previously in the post no problem. I edited the post and uploaded the image again and the problem was fixed. Very strange bug. As far as I can tell, there is no way to determine what the actual problem is though. Our only hope is that Invision updates address the problem eventually.

I've never read the manga, and I found the movie confusing. The storytelling aspect was the only weak part. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it very much because of that. Everything else about the movie rocked.

I don't listen to a large variety of music. Right now I listen to Tool, A Perfect Circle, Audioslave, and various video game soundtracks to pass the time while I work.

I think that pic of Mari is very recent, and the pic of Reba is fairly old. Which means, they were both probably around the same age when the pics were taken. Edit: Nevermind, the pic of Reba was taken in 2002

It's just not going to happen, for multiple reasons. The most important reason is that Shawn just doesn't want one. I tend to agree. There's too many active posters, and off-topic forums get immediately out of hand.
