  1. I wouldn't purchase figs of other characters... this one is TO SCALE!!! and that's what I like about it... I can stand it next to Hikaru 1:60 and be like, "whoa, that's one big woman! you could climb her like a tree!"

  2. i didn't get a low-vis, i don't regret it, i wouldn't get a new one if it came out... but, I know alot of MWers that didn't (or did), do, and/or would. So i voted that they should make either or both for my friends' sake. :)

if anyone has trouble reading that... I'm sorry.

  3. man... my hopes for the Yamato Q-rau were dashed when it came out... then I saw this picture and thought "Joy" and then I saw "Vaporware" and was all sad again... and then I saw that it was CG, and was like, "Holy crap!" and now I've gotten over it... and I'm sad again... :(

  4. I am VERY glad that this DIDN'T come with that overpriced piece of Q-Rau! I'll definitely be picking these up (no I don't blindly think they need die-cast metal) I'll stand it next to a 1/60 VF-1 in Battaloid mode and it will Kick ass! as to the hip content... it's obviously its pockets that are sticking out. That figure looks like it's anorexic! I mean, come on! Are you people SERIOUS?! too fat? that!?? A girl 6ft. tall shaped like that couldn't weigh over 110lbs... how many of you are so lithe and wispy?

  5. I'm confused as to how this can possibily be legal.

Isn't Toynamis stuff titled as "Robotech" and Yamatos toys are "Macross" so how can they order someone selling products licensed under a different name?

It's not like the "Takara can't reissue Jetfire beacuse bandai owns it" thing, I can belive that because it's excatly the same toy but these are two very different product lines.

    Fort Max

harmony gold claims to own all American rights to all things Macross apparently they think this includes macross plus, II, 7, DYRL?, VF-X... you name it. If it is Macross, then according to harmony gold it is not allowed to be brought into america by any means... I think the last time i heard of them doing this, they refered to yamatos and bandais as bootleg robotech toys and demended that they be "returned" to harmony gold.

  6. I just got it this morning in about two days from Asia, surely that can't be bad going :p

It's a nice toy, I was surprised by how big is it and it's weight, however it is a little floppy and awkward looking and it really needs some locking joints to keep both the upper and lower torsos in place.

Everytime I try to move the arms it gets taller

But as it was Yamatos first stab at the concept, I'll forgive the falws and I eagerly await the newer stuff.

    Fort Max

well... maybe all those rants about the toys shortcomings aren't ENTIRELY untrue... but you gotta' admit, it's got charm. (which is hard to come by in a robot)

  7. We should stop squabbling, next thing you know, someone will be pointing out that there weren't visible screws in the animation.

how come the toys have visible screws when the valkyries didn't have them in the animation?

    did yamato screw up?

    :p:lol:

    punny!
