I wouldn't take that ARMD Data as gospel chaps. As its not found anywhere but Nanashi's. With regards to the Guanatanamo Class Stealth Carriers they are supposedly being replaced by the URaga Class Stealth Carriers by the time of M7. But both Guantanamo and Uraga Class Carriers can be seen out of the window and through the floor in Mac Plus Episode 1. (Also orbiting Earth in 3 & 4.) If Guantanamo's are being phased out by 2040 they have got to have been around a while, probably 20 years byt he way that most Navies today work. So they are mostly likely from a few years after Flashback 2012. Probably close to the end of the 2010's. Same theory seems to hold for the Bolognese Frigates. Although they aren't being replaced.

Well we've made some estimates for its height at the MRC Boards but thats assuming the guy stnading next to the Cheyenne is 6 foot tall. That would make the Cheyenne 38 feet tall. Not a bad height bearing in mind that the Tomahawk is only 3 feet taller at 41 feet, and the Defender is about 37 feet tall.

The Macross Compendium Glossary refers to them as the UNSM (United Nations Space Marines.) Sadly people keep slapping a C on the end for Corp, thinking its the same as the USMC, (United States Marine Corp.) The naming is more like the Royal Marines however. They are a Corp, but the word is never used in the title or in daily use.

Straight from the Macross Compendium: UN United Nations UNAF United Nations Air Force UNN United Nations Navy UNS United Nations Spacy UNSAF United Nations Space Air Force UNSM United Nations Space Marines UN Spacy is as the Macross Compendium states...... "Branch of the United Nations Forces charged with its defense in space." The other branches are pretty obvious as they conform to the standard Armed Forces of today. The oddity is the UNSAF, which the TIAS: Macross Plus book shows stenciled on the side of several VF's, but what is its responsibility as space would really be the remit of the UN Spacy.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but this Destroid appears to be semi-transformable. At the back of the knees are additional wheels that would never come into contact with the ground in its present mode, and at the back of the weapon arms are fists/hands.

Looks to me like this Destroid is either the Mark I, II or III of the Tomahawk. As the Tomahawk we all know and love is actually the Mark IV. Although this particular destroid looks quite different from the Mark IV it still has a large number of similarities, especially when compared to any of the other destroids. Has anyone been able to translate the text ??
