Does anyone know precisely what weapons it is that the Anti-UN troops are carrying in Mac Zero 4 ?? The theories so far on the MRG Stats board is a Barrett Light 50, and an AK-105 or similar. Anyone care to hazard a guess ???

This sounds like the Star Wars Holiday Special. A rare piece of history rarely seen. Of course the Star Wars Holiday Special was so bad that Lucas tried to bury it, but there are some copies floating around and you have to watch it for the sheer cheese value. Things such as camp disco music in the cantina, the first 20 minutes spoken entirely in wookie with NO translation. Or Han Solo saying to Chewies family how they've always been like a family to him, but the look in his eyes saying 'What the hell am I doing'. Even better still Leia and Luke who both look stoned out of their skulls. So where can we get this Macross Special ??

WJ, give Egan a break. He works his bollocks off providing a great site for all of us. Hell without his site I'd be knackered doing Macross roleplay stats, and no of us would know all of the interesting in between the scenes stuff. And sleep is an important commodity, (one I tend to go without far too often as well,) so Egan take a break and get some well earned rest. WJ, Egan is doing us and specifically in this case, you, a service. He's not paid for it, he does it out of love. Like all of us who either provide information, images, and data, such as Egan and yourself. Or the multitude of stats bashers like me. Egan is not able to provide info on stuff that he doesn't know about yet. (Which is why I've had a ruler up to my monitor measuring the little man against the Octos to work out how tall/long it is. Its not fantastically accurate but it gives me a good headstart until Egan is able to provide more accurate info. All in your own good time Egan no rush =) So in conclusion. WJ, give the guy a break and wait patiently. And Egan, I promise I won't bug you for ship Class names again for the time being, (I'll go kidnap Kawamori-San instead and make him tell me ) if you promise to take 5 minutes out for yourself

As both relate to the same role, and are written by the same writers they will be similar. Added in to that the skills selection being so limited by Palladium its no wonder really that they are almost identical. Its one reason that I updated the VF Pilot OCC to include more skills to round them out more. http://unsd.macrossroleplay.org/rpg.php (3/4 of the way down the page) As Roy said we at the MRG (Macross RPG Galaxies) have plenty of space for new units and campaigns, and have a highly experienced staff. At the moment we are currently running at about 4% of our available server space. That includes all of the material of the UN Spacy Database and the material of Macross RPG Galaxies If anyone has any further questions please field them to either myself, Jet Jockey, or Crimson Reaver, on the MRG boards so we can answer them quickly for you. (Don't check this board too often.)

Go to homeworld2.com and check the forums there. They have on one thread links to some 100+ mods, including numerous Star Wars and Star Trek mods, AND a Macross:DYRL mod.

New site design is now up New main title image isn't ready yet though.

Looks to be the exact same plce I got my copy from. The initial menu screen's image is awful. The fuzzy crapness to the above picture is what you see on screen. Once the episode starts running though the images are perfectly clear, as is the sound......even if the subtitles translation reads like a 70's Kung-Fu movie sub.

Brand new site design is going up a little later this week. Im currently waiting for my wife to finish off the new title design image for me so it can all go together. (She did the MRG's title images as well)

As Gideon and JELEINEN right said there are a number of online Macross RPG sites. Gideon's posted his which is a side-story, whereas my own site deals almost, (99%,) exclusively with canon material http://unsd.macrossrpg.com (my site is moving location to its own domain name soon though.) As for online roleplay sites, there are two main ones. Macross RPG Community http://www.macrossrpg.com Macross RPG Network http://www.unspacy.com Both RPG sites have their up and down sides. But the MRC is the bigger, better site, and has new units being created at the moment, whereas the MRN's Macross roleplaying Im told is on a downward slide. Best if you check out both sites and make your own mind up.

Within the next two weeks the UN Spacy Database will be leaving the MRC for ever, and moving to its own new domain name. I will be posting details on the my website, the MRC, and here once domain name, space and bandwidth details are finalised. Watch this space

Just noticed something. Now either that script kiddie is trying to frame someone else, or he is REALLY STUPID. He put his email address LOL All you need do is contact the provider and get them to back trace his email logins.

Graham is probably the closest, its most likely a 13 year old script kiddie. The bane of true hackers everywhere. Real Hackers wish to learn about computers and networks. Crackers are the ones who cause the trouble breaking in systems and networks. Script Kiddies, are generally early to mid teens kids who have no real skills and rely upon pregenerated scripts to do the hacking for them. Southcross, I think you might be thinking of some of the Hacker Contests setup by other hackers. These contests are designed to allow hackers to test their skills against a server or group of servers specifically provided for the hacker contest, and not just any old server on the web. Those script kiddies trying to hack into any old server, ala Macross Compendium, are just doing it to prove they are l33t, (Hacker slang for Elite.) What they are is a bloody pain in the arse. All that SK is going to do is brag to his online mates and earn himself some brownie points with them. By the looks of things Egan is a smart operator and has everything backed up. If I were him I'd be adding all the latest security patches right now to deter this from happening again. Actually I don't expect a response from Nanashi as I've never received one from him in the past, (bar one.) Your obviously lucky in getting responses as I've emailed him in the past on several occasions and only got one response which basically said that he wasn't going to name his sources. All other emails were catagorically ignored. I don't feel I have any reason to apologise for my opinion. My comment was to the massed ranks of the MW members involved in this thread. Obviously Im wasting my time as instead of getting involved in a discussion on Macross, where you have been asked your opinions, some of you would rather argue in a futile manner in between worshipping Nanashi/Wind-Jammer.
