Actually my 1D all joints are rather tight, esp the shoulder joints. I hv to loosen up the screws as I worry the tightness may crack the hinge in long term somehow

Just recvd my 1D yesty. All joints are tight, no floppiness on the legs joint.

Me too hv to dust them every weekend. Think I will try to take some shot of my shelve, though its a only small one.

I hv not seen my 1/48 1A CF in battroid mode for some time & made the transformation last night. I realised how low the head sits on the shoulder, (like losing its neck off!). IMO, Yamato raises the head up on the v2 1/60 is a good idea. And I like sliding nosecone. I just find the 1/60 hv overall more balanced design.

Sure looks black to me. Damn, can they just move the camera to left or right more!

Look good & may consider getting them.

I'm in container shipping line & the economic downturn hv one of the most obvious impact on this industry. And things are still not looking bright. I hv seen some shipping companies here hv either wind up or are retrenching staffs. So far so good, my job is still ok (finger cross!). Smaller sized companies such as the one I work, tend to be more stable. Its the bigger organisation that are prompt to retrenchment, etc. But sometimes I can't help having that insecure feeling that anything can happen to any jobs, with all the spending on toys. I mainly collect Macross & Transformer. I sold all my 1/48s (left only 1A CF) & are committed to collect just the new 1/60s. I hv to forgo the new Yamato SDF-1 too. I tried to cut down Transformers & just focus collecting the Henkei series only. Thankfully I won't be interested in upcoming movie toys. But damn, I hv paid the downpayment for MP Grimlock coming next March! As Miriya rightfully said, every times when I look at my collections, there is still some feeling of happiness & satisfaction, despite the uncertainies ahead.

In one of the episode where SDF-1 landed on the Mars base, I recalled a scene where a VF-1D, along with other Valks, is standing guard during loading of supplies. Definately the 1D is battle capable Valk.

After looking at the box art couple times again, i kinda likeit . A refreshing change fm the usual dark colour we see fm previous releases.

Awesome! Thank guys for the infos. The VT-1 look great & to be released in July. Since Graham lets the cat loose a bit, I'm sure E-1 shud not be far off. So much anticipations this year for Macross!

1J CF scheduled for June release. Damn, the release pace is too fast. Hope Yamato can slow it down. I will get two pcs of 1As CF (if Yamato releases it) & pair it with the 1J CF as squad leader. Just like Hikky's vermilliion squadron, yeah!

My dealer told me will arrive late Feb or early Mar.

The yellow stripe pilot suit appear to be identical to Kakizaki but in the show, we usually see the common pilots with green & blue stripe.

I too find the tan rather light, almost the tone as TV Kakizaki. Wish Yamato cud use the same tan as 1/48 1A CF.

That is very funny! You can imagine him wondering how the hell the other bloke with long hair named Ichijo managed to get a pure white VF-1J with red stripe across the chest.

This is the Ep 2 scene I just mentioned abt.

In Ep 2, when the Reguld made the first land attack on the SDF-1 & the Valkyries responded, there was a scene of a VF-1J CF (with a 1A CF behind), firing away. Indeed is a big surprise as I expect the first CF release to be 1A. Look good & I look forward to it. Probably a June release?

So far, any latest news abt the actual colour of heat shield for Max 1S?

We will expect the final outcome regarding the nose design & pilot when its due release this Feb.

I'm looking at actual thing against my pics taken. The actual is slightly lighter mustard than pictured one.

I too hoping for 2 option heatshield provided, so all will be happy. C'mon Yamato, did you hear that! Its Fans choice!
