The bar is set by the Matchbox toy. Beggars can't be choosers!
But us beggars could learn to sculpt.

I'm not really sold on those proportions. I need to see a prototype first.
Would be cool if the chest can open, but I doubt it does.

I don't think the unfortunate residents of Hell will have to worry about finding a new home just yet, considering there's a long list of unreleased Robotech toys.
But in all seriousness, I hope this line does hit retail. It's hard to find a more passionate fanbase than Southern Cross fans.
It's difficult enough finding a Southern Cross fans at all.

Thanks! First time I've seen it.
Comparatively little change compared to the other Sentinel Ride Armors, which is fine with me. It even appears to be missing the perforated wheel guard . The cloth works against the slim figure imo though. -
I've only seen concept artwork for Rook/Hoquet, which was shown alongside the Yellow prototype back in February.
-
Yeah, roughly 1/32 or 1/36 range.
According to the Southern Cross RPG book, the Hover Tank battloids are 6.2 meters tall.
-
Apparently they are about 20cm tall.

It seems that batch 1 of the VF-1S Fokker, released 12/14, was distributed only to folks in Hong Kong. They have delayed the larger distribution a few weeks to make a change of some sort. What they can possibly change in a few week delay, I have no idea... unless it's an issue with the packaging or instructions.
Ok, thanks. I was wondering if it was for their Minmay figure.
They could possibly change plastic types if it's a tolerance issue, otherwise, no idea. -

Wild stuff!
I doubt we'll see all 5 or 6 bioroid variants, but I'd be happy to be wrong about that.

'bout halfway.
Ouch!
I think the Bioroid Dropship is considered a finished project.

How close to the 30 Auroran orders did we get?
-
Yeah, Winter Wonderfest in about three months should have a better prototype of the Sentinel Legioss. I think there are angles where you can see the various resin pieces taped together. The transformation sequence is slightly different to the standard as well.

Amazon use pricing algorithms to search for other online retailers and beat their prices. Well, it's what I was told Amazon US and Au does. Seeing pre-ordered Transformer toys drop in price is common here.

According to NY, the Dark Legioss is scheduled to be in stock until 12/30. Usually I pay those notices as soon as I get them but I just don't trust that ET is actually going to hit that target...
Eta was delayed three months, Zeta and Iota were both delayed a month, so safe to assume that the Dark Legioss will also be delayed. I hope it is, otherwise the end of December will totally clean me out.

This happened to someone I know who had their account suspended for canceling too many orders. You could try logging out and back in again.

Yeah, thanks.
I was gonna ask if anyone knew what was wrong with HLJ, but figured the answers would be too long. -

Which is pretty much standard.
Hopefully HLJ have unf*cked their cart system. I ended up having to go with Amiami for the VF-4.

So go ahead, ask me why I bought a second set...
'Cause they were ¥25000 for the pair, that's why!
Also, this came.
Great price. Were they second-hand?
That Iota looks pretty good, but it's the Dark Legioss I'm actually looking forward to.

Evolution Toys Iota Legioss just landed in my Private Warehouse. I guess it will stay there until the end of the year when the Bandai VF-1J joins it.
MAAS Toys is making Veritech Hovertanks and Red Commander Bioroids w/Biover!

Yep, which gives some liberty to the design, and is why I think that one's much leaner design is a great (re-)interpretation. It looks like the head can turn a bit too, which it isn't supposed to, but again, it's their interpretation.
How many times has a 'perfect transformation' SDF VF-1 been refined over the last 40ish years? And it's still not line-art accurate on account of the puffy hands alone. Takara is set to release their third Masterpiece interpretation of Optimus Prime, whose robot and truck mode looks accurate, but the transformation is hectic as parts of the cab move into the legs to achieve it.
Beagle (arguably) produced the best Ride Armor 10 years ago, yet it was the least accurate in terms of proportions or transformation compared to CMs Corp or MegaHouse. They traded proportional accuracy for practicality and it worked well enough for Aramaki to adopt it for his later redesigns (assumed).
The Bioroids don't even transform, but as Captain America implied, something has to give to for them to achieve a decent range of motion. And where there is a will, there is a way.
These are still the best Bioroid kits I've seen in terms of proportion, even though they're not completely loyal to the line-art either.
But I don't make toys, so what do I know... Right? I just buy them.
