I think they have and they may have lost the Macross 7 license a few years ago.
Their Battle 7 kit was released about six months ago, so they could well still have the Macross 7 license in some form at least.

We'd love to see the Captain create some models from Southern Cross, but there doesn't seem to be enough interest.
Capt is working on a dropship from Southern Cross currently. So there is interest (and capital) from somewhere...

That is beautiful!
The head is a bit strange though. As if it's looking down. It should be in a fixed position.

Not if it's the 1D.

Yeah, but Phalanx and Nousjadeul-ger first, please.

I'm hoping it's released within 60 days of the DX YF-19's release :)... but if not, maybe I can ship it with the DX VF-1.
And/or the Dark Legioss!

Do we have an over/under on how long/how many times the ET Jota Legioss will be delayed?
Eta was delayed three months. Zeta was delayed one month. So it seems likely Iota will release roughly on time this month, or next.

It's hard to say for certain since those images are so small, but from the layout they appear to be Imai's blueprint sketches from when Imai was trying to develop a line of Southern Cross kits at (initially) 1/32 scale (later 1/40 and 1/48). The "Imai Files" contained drafts in that same format for the Spartas.
As such, it's probably part of that allegedly vast collection of Southern Cross art that went unpublished because the series was canceled and HG gives zero f*cks. (Whether said huge art stockpile actually exists is unconfirmed.)
Thanks Seto Kaiba!
But someone out there must have those images...

I paged through the book and the front images of the bioroids are in the book but not the smaller side and back detail drawings. I guess those are in a book I don't have. Or maybe the Robotech Art 1 book. I don't know many Japanese Southern Cross artbooks. Only the This is Animation one. They have a few on ebay.
Okay, thanks. I have the Robotech Art books and they aren't in there or the Palladium RPG books.
The hunt continues...

They should be in the This is Animation book. I have that somewhere around here.
Are you able to upload high res scans of all of the Bioroids? Otherwise is that magazine easily found anymore?

So, beyond the VF-2SS Nexx in November, there's no new Macross Hi-Metals..?

The Revoltech is quite good, especially compared to the Revoltech Ingrams. Something about this one didn't look so great to me and I've yet to pick it up, What did you dislike about the -Side Labor- version?
The overall proportions ang general playability. Revoltech Griffin was just more fun.

^ Beautiful work all-round.

Are there any Macross Hi-Metals announced after the VF-2SS Nexx in November?

The Sentinel Legioss does look strange from the front, but good from other angles. Problem is that front view is important.

I have 8 sets of molds just for the visors as it is. You have to bear in mind that clear resin isn't like regular resin: the slightest flake of dust/debris, or even tiny bubbles caused by the mixing process will render the part junk, and it can't be melted-down and recycled. One in 3 visors comes out unusable. Food for thought.
Sure, but how many casts per mold? I thought it was 20 to 30, which works out to qbout 160 visors..

Hey guys, heads-up: due to overwhelming demand, I won't be accepting orders for extra visors from this point forth. Those who have already paid are OK, though.
Can't you just make another set? With the tools you created etc...

Evolution Toys Iota Legioss just landed in my Private Warehouse. I guess it will stay there until the end of the year when the Bandai VF-1J joins it.
