  1. You can count me in for one depending on when payment is due.
  2. Ha! Surely for this price they plan to only produce it in one variation...but I guess that all depends on how many are willing to shell out $2000 for whichever comes first. LED's would definitely put it on my want/have to get list. We'll just have to see...
  3. Man, I would love to see this video. My 11B has been stuck in battroid since I got it because I can't figure out how to get it back to fighter mode. Too many boxes to dig through to get to the manual...
  4. Got my AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED but unable to upload pics. Decided against the VRII version and went with the first because a local guy was selling a brand new USA version on Craigslist. Can't wait to use this sweet piece of pro glass!
  5. Thanks Dante. The next wedding I shoot I'll be using the 70-200 so that should help with a couple of points, but I will definitely take those others as well. Thanks for the tips!
  6. Thanks for clearing that up eugimon. The 70-200 should help with some of this...counting down the days.
  7. Dante74 that appears to be some serious equipment you have there. I've been reading up on tripods and monopods and have heard good things about the Gitzo. What can you tell me that led to your getting one? What did it set you back with the ballhead, if you don't mind me asking?
  8. I actually happed upon the settings while messing around with the camera at the wedding. Even learned how to give light reflections a little bling. PM for more info if you haven't looked into that yet. Would you say the focus would have been better if I was able to hold the camera steady? I bet a tripod or monpod would remedy this. I'm still too new at all this so I can't wait until my DSLR class starts on May 20th where I will learn about all this stuff like composition. Really enjoying the hobby and can't wait to get out there again. I appreciate you guys chiming in.
  9. I know these are photos we are not used to looking at, but I wanted you guys to critique them. I took these at a wedding last Saturday for a co-worker who was getting married. There was one photo of her where I thought the bokeh was really nice so I thought I would share it and a few others. One of our staff photographers at work looked at the pictures and told me that I was making good use of the rule of thirds and that I had an eye; that made me feel good. Anywho, here are a few shots. Feel free to chime in on the good, bad, and ugly of it all.
  10. Not sure if this is an issue with you guys in other areas of the country, but here in Arkansas pollen is a REAL problem this time of year. I was with my family this past Sunday taking shots of everything and didn't take the pollen into consideration. It wasn't long before I realized pollen was caking up all over my camera and lens and I'm afraid I might have "dust" now. I know this might be a dumb question, but is compressed air okay to use on the lens? I used it to blow the outside of the body and lens to remove all the pollen that had collected. I know for future shots this time of year to use some sort of barrier to keep the pollen at bay...
  11. I have the 18-200 Kicker and I am loving it. It's my all purpose lens and does very well in natural light on the D90. I thought about getting rid of it, but now that spring is in full swing and I'm getting more outdoors shots with it I have a new appreciation for it.
  12. I have some of these as well. If comparing them to Anasazi's decals on a scale of 1-10 I'd give them a 6.5 Their scale is off somewhat. As far as their application I can't say because I haven't used any of them.
  13. Which sets are you looking for? I have several 1/60 waterslide decals. David is right that the newer versions have lots of tampoo printing, but not all the markings are there. The decals help complete the tampooed look of all the markings.
  14. What's the logic behind your choice here eugimon?
  15. Thinking about selling my 35mm 1.8 DX to get the Nikon version of this lens. It's on the radar...
  16. Hey I can't remember what was decided for Macrossworld Con 2010. Was it decided that it would move to the the fall of 2010? The reason I ask is because my wife's family reunion is being held in San Diego this summer over the 4th of July weekend. If things coincide for MacrossCon I would definitely be there. No way I'd miss it if I'm going to be in Cali for a minute.
