was planning to get one of the clear ones and even a blue one when it's released, but now i think i'll stick w/ my Bandai Action Base 1 stands and flexys... the bandai stand is pretty good for b-mode aerial poses w/out having to leave the wings open. Flexys are, of course, the best for f-mode...

Look at the pictures posted above your reply. It appears the wings can be closed in battroid with the new stands...

It's weird that they havent announced the M&M se but totally not worrisome. It makes sense that the line concentrated on the 2 seaters and TV schemes, so that the collectors won't feel like they're collecting the same exact line that they already bought with the 1/48. In fact it kinda makes sense now why they didn't release 2 seaters for the 1/48 line. If people would have completed they collections with the 1/48, why would they even invest in a whole new line? Very smart Yamato peoples!

The manner in which Yamato is releasing Valks has shifted my view on my collection. I used to live and die by my 1/48's, but I now plan on selling off a few. I used to want to have everything in both scales, but as I begin to appreciate the hobby more and get away from just "hoarding" Valks for the sake of having them I am finding it easier to part with a few. Especially since I am running out of space and the 1/60's give you more real estate for your buck.

Don't get me wrong, the 1/48 scale will always reign supreme in my book, but it's just kind of corny when I sit here at my desk and look at my display with identical Valks in different scales. Some are worth it like the TV Max. I love looking at those two side by side, but I will be sacrificing at least two (maybe three) of my 1/48's for custom work and selling off at least least custom to purchase more 1/60 scale Valks.

Anybody intersted in a custom 1/48 VF-1D?

I've seen a few posts where members stated they were unable to close the wings behind the backpack in battroid mode using the new stands. Looks like it might be possible.

Logos makes them look so damn good! But I have heard too many negatives to buy in just yet. Really disappointed in this because it's really a cool looking stand.

I've actually had to migrate some of my Valks to my office at work because I am running out of space here at home. But my office has a door and I lock it up before I leave for work each day.

It's nice... Would look cool with SP and a gunpod... But why is this before the Max Millia 1J's...

If you ask the fans which would they rather have, you will understand the why part.

Because we want this more. Over the course of just about every line they have release M&M 1J valks, but there are only two ELINT seeker valks, the original Bandai and the version 1 1/60 valk. Now we have an anime accurate version that has perfect transformation, I can do without M&M for a while for this instead.

Exactly, there will always be M&M VF-1J's but only so many VT-1 and VE-1's.

Have to agree with all these guys here. M&M...meh! I have'em in 1/48; like most probably do or in another scale. I actually thought the Elint would be the last to be released. To get it this early on is going to be Christmas in September! I just hope I can save enough money to buy a case to have one in each mode and either hold on to the third as a minty fresh gem or sell it here on the forums.

It looks like it left customs then went back into customs and I can't quite decipher it...

With the release of the v2 1/60's size allowing for more real estate and some being fairly cheap through Over-Drive I would like to create Roy's VF-1S with fast packs being piloted by Hikaru.

I know there is a TV version of the fastpacks for Hikaru's VF-1J, but it isn't cannon. Is this color the actual color of the ones used when Hikaru escorted Misa or are the DYRL colored fastpacks a closer match?

Any experts with info would be greatly appreciated!

VE-1 is on Yamato's website... and DAMN!!! it's even more expensive than the VT-1 @ 16,800 Yen w/c is around US$ 177... (VT-1 - 15,800 Yen)

Ahh! Finally! I assume you are not in the U.S. to have this already. Looks like I need to check Over-Drive and HLJ to see if they are available.

That's sad and unfortunate. I'm not sure what a closed contract is, but each time we have bought a house there has not been any penalty for paying it off early. You request a pay-off from the bank and the amount is actually lower than what actually shows on the most recent payment info.

Our current house appraised for more than the builder's selling price in December of 2006. Since we didn't use a realtor, our builder/seller thew in some extras as well as a few items that conveyed and at closing we walked away with a check for $9000.00.

If only I had new about Macross toys then! Just another example that shows buying a home might help you fund your toy festish.

After 2 weeks of 'displaying' my SMS squad on the dining table I finally found time to pose and do a photo session.

Nice pics and cool poses. How did you end up with a yellow SMS stand base? My RVF-25 has an all black base. Did you customize the base or is this a different scale? These appear to the be same as the 1/60 scale DX I have.

Awesome displays and collections guys! This has always been one of my favorite posts. Always cool to see others enthusiasm about the Macross hobby as well as their other interests.

Miryia, that still amazes me how you mix your stuff and it all seems to come together. Next to ruskiivalkyrie, I think you have one of the most eclectic mixes of stuff.

Actually a catch-22 on this one. I would have preferred a box along the same style of the other two 1/60 Macross Plus toys. Although I do appreciate the smaller size it just would have been consistent to have the box art and size to coincide with the other two. Heck, what's one more large box going to harm in the scope of things?

That being said, I am really enjoying the smaller boxes and the smaller scale Valks.

How much did it cost total with shipping?

Also, have any of you ordered 2 of the valks on sale and then a set of armor on sale? If so, how much would the 3 combined with shipping cost?

Also, does anyone know when the sale ends?

I purchased two Valks and two sets of the parts. I believe my total with EMS shipping was like $268 and I got them in 3 days.

I think most will agree with you on this. I'm getting both, but I wouldn't be surprised if the DYRL version turns out to be one of the least sold.

Here's your resident ignoramous still stuck on Macross the (TV and DYRL) versions. Yet to see Macross II, Zero, 7, Frontier, or any of the others.

My son already asks me "Daddy when you die do I get to have your Macross toys?" He's asked on more than one occasion and I'm like DAMN!!! Hold up man!

Without a doubt my boy will get my toys, more than likely before I pass on to the other side.

I'd like to be an old man visiting him with, hopefully by then, some expensive toys and family heirlooms to sit around and talk about. That would be awesome! Yes, my boy will definitely get my toys.

Definitely a yes on the TV Kaki, but being the semi-completist (doesn't make sense does it?) I'll eventually have to pick up the green DYRL 1A.

By the way, Kakizakin in a VF-1S would be an atrocity!!!
