I'm looking into buying a Freedom Gundam model kit. But after looking at the available models I ended up really confused! I have been buying Bandai Kits for a while now and i've never encountered this... I found this 1/100 MG one... I understand it has a metallic finish... Then there's this other 1/100 one... which I understand is the one from SEED Destiny... Then there's this 1/60 one which says Real Detail... and last but not least this 1/60 light up one Now my real question is... how do these compare to each other? Why is the 1/60 Real Detail the same price as the 1/100 being so much bigger? is the quality really bad compared to the MG? And then similarly how come the 1/60 ligth up one is almost the same price as the extra finish 1/100?? I guess I'm more interested in the quality of the plastic... Which one is better quality? Since there are all Bandai I'm guessing the plastic is the same? then which one is the most detailed? Any thoughts? Which one should I get? Thank you so much in advance. ~Tico

Hi... I long time ago I downloaded a paper model of a mitsubishi fto. It was the most detailed car model I've seen. I started building it but half way through it got squashed and I never retried... Now I'm ready to tackle it again but I can't find the file!!! The link is this but it doesn't lead to anywhere now... I've looked all over the net (google really), and I can't find it!! LOL LOL That part WAS hilarious! I liked the movie overall but i agree with you that the ending felt rushed. Oh and in the book the aliens did use the humans as fuel for their machines. I also like the fact that the aliens where not from Mars like in the book... that idea wouldn't fly in this century. What i did not like was the how the aliens got to earth through lightning (makes no sense) instead of meteorites ~Tico

Mmmmm... I'm sorry if i come off rude but... did you read the title of the movie? It's War of the Worlds! The story is the story, it's a good story, why change it? We knew it was a remake!! What i liked most about it was that it was 100% true to the book! If you thought the story was stupid to begin with, then it was obvious that you weren't going to like it. It wasn't the best movie in the world but it was exactly what i expected. The main character of the book was a random person in the world... and Tom Cruise was also a random person in the world too. I thought it was well done. ~Tico

I think thats too easy for an alt considering the boxy shape, I guess Kup would be good for that car also,,,Iron hide I thinks would look good as a Jeep Grand Cherokee (2005) I think most of us were trying to avoid comments on the xB... mainly because it's darn ugly!! I think that even an Honda Element would be better for ironhide... and i hate that car too! Some sort of van should have been the pick. I looked at the pics for the BT xB and it looks pretty ridiculous with a huge chest and skinny legs... Even if he's not Ironhide... they just shouldn't use the xB, period. ~Tico

I'd argue that the scene feels completely different. The scene with Shaw conveys the paternal guidance and amusement the Force glowies have for the youngsters who just saved the day. Luke is seeing his father just as he saw him moments before, but now restored and made whole. Christensen just reminds us of the annoying Jedi that was. The fact that Christensen is to you Anakin as when he was last a whole man gives the scene a completely different meaning. Shaw representing Anakin restored highlights his redemption in the last moments of his life, and that he became fully himself, fully man, with his final act in spite of how much machine he actually was. Christensen as Anakin at his best puts Anakin's growth and development in statis... forever stuck as the whiney, egotistical, arrogant uber jedi the moment he turned to the dark side. WOW.... thanks for the replies guys... at least now I know what many ppl think of this issue. I had no idea that SNES games were $70 back in the day. At that time I lived in Chile... this explains why my parents never got me any games and why there was so much piracy down there. The piracy still exists because most chilean can't justify paying $60 (the price for games there) for a game. I was thinking about getting Guild Wars. I have always wanted to try these Massive Multi whatever whatever games but I didn't want to pay $50 plus a monthly fee. Since with Guild Wars you only pay the initial $50 I think I'll get it. I don't know much about economics and cost of production for videogames... but doesn't it seem that videogames (for all platforms and PC) are too expensive?? I would think that movies are more expensive to produce and they sell for 20-30 dollars. Then why are videogames 50 bucks??? I realize that movies make money at theaters but games have like 4 systems for releasing their games. I find myself not being able to justify spending 50 bucks on a silly videogame... and in the past i have resorted to downloading Does anybody know why the price? thanks, Tico
