CDJ accepts cash via registered mail? Really? Anyone tried that?
btw movement detected at NY...as in they are updating other stuff...
It popped up with no image and when I selected it, the website said it's not available anymore. I suspect they're loading it up as we speak
-
Wow, can't find anything at the moment- anyone else have any luck?
-
That's a big price jump even by proxy fee standards... is BiJ reliable? You'd think with that price point they'd be shipping the everything with gold plated air cushions in a titanium box or something.
-
Yeah I don't think Melbourne has much of a Macross/mecha scene either unless you're into Gunpla.
It's a shame. Would love to have a stronger scene in Oz...
-
So there is no way people overseas can order the second VF-31J that Hayate piloted? Was hoping to get this one...

Is that knight logo in the right orientation or is this the same as the messer debacle?
What was the Messer debacle?
-
Yeah, that is pricey. Wonder what other sites will be cheaper?
There a link for Arcadia's stock directly?

going to see this on the weekend with the gf. I'm really hoping its not crap! The previews looked good! I really like Cara Delevingne!
It's out in Oz already? For some reason I can't watch it till 10 August!

Guys, guys... I think we're all missing the important point here: that Robotech has been flailing about for years and HG keeps claiming Big Things are Coming Soon™ but nothing ever happens. This is just more of the same, and they deserve our mockery and scorn.
Also that the Robotech Academy kickstarter was a failure of truly epic scope. Not that that's actually directly relevant to anything, but I wanted to remind everyone it happened.
I doubt any of us are missing the point- Robofail is a joke and what they do is cruelly baiting those still gullible to believe their lies to continue throwing their $ into a failed and dying franchise.
They deserve more than mockery and scorn with the way they make Macross products that much harder to attain.
That being said, I laughed for months about the failed Kickstarter. That was a special fail even by Harmony Gold's standards.
-
Was hired? Really? I just googled Jon Wan Robotech together and most of the articles that have come up are only "being circled", "attached".or "reportedly". NONE listed themselves as confirmed hirings. Same when you substitute Jon Wan with Nic Mathieu. All the hits state there is "in talks". Sounds to me that you need to provide proof that there are many credible sites stating that it was a confirmed hiring...

I really hope this one does well. Would love to see more of Valerian in the future.
Worried about the marketing though. Not sure it'll pull enough people to make it a qualified hit. Hope I'm proven wrong.
-
I'm torn- will never buy anything that would provide any $ to Harmony Gold but they look real good!
Seeing as they're probably 1/72 scale and Harmony Gold sympathizers I'll give it a miss

If the pre-order's confirmed, it has to be one of the easiest pre-orders I've had in quite some time!

Just pre-ordered with amiami. Surprised it's there. Is it because people cancelled for hlj or it's acting up?
-
Well it's also out of production and people still want them. Looks like Mandarake last sold one at 28,000. Which is roughly $250. Not sure many here would be willing to sell a new one for $200 when the going rate is higher.
A bit unlucky with nobody able to help you out, Kinzoku. Maybe VF-19's are too precious for members to part with- I blame Spanner
VF-19P aside, what else are you after? Hopefully people here may be able to help you out on other ones!

Looks like the Mig has got conformal fuel tanks like the new F-16's we keep seeing...

Altough I cant seem to find it on HLJ
So is it a model or a figure?

The animation quality for an 80's show was impressive.
Was it ever a Japanese show first or just using animators from around that region only?
-
Sounds interesting- photos would be good. Do they have a big Macross section?
Japan's the only one I know and I think it's one that is recognised internationally- the creativity and great designs has left quite an impression on the international scene.
-
I've always thought the Japanese one is Wonderfest.
-
Think it's more for people like me that didn't have a chance to get all the Model Graphix issues of the past that were around. This is a neat way of getting them all in one book as opposed to hunting for several issues.
I'm happy I bought it. -
That art also in Tenjin's latest book?
-
Yeah I have both the Arcadia and Yamato one. Arcadia's VF-0S is the superior design. But the price you see at the moment is crazy high. If you're after a VF-0S that you want in fighter mode the Yamato isn't bad. The QC for Yamato is hit or miss- some are good and work fine but others...
Just depends what you want out of your VF-0S.

For that price I'd bite!
Where did you see it? Shame I'm not in Japan...
