Has enough time passed to even make a remake feasible?

Can anyone remember why these were so popular? I remember being involved with the craze, but I have no idea why.

Battlefront 2 seems to be a straight up console port and suffers because of it. The graphics look very dated and don't stand up well to current titles. Plus I understand that there is a lack of Linux server support which will definitely hamper the community in the long run...

This brings back the good old days. Only better!!

There will be some deleted scenes added back IIRC. I'm pretty sure that scene with mom mothma and others essentially creating the Rebellion is being put back.

I agree you have to filter a lot of crap to get to decent stuff. There are a couple series I really enjoy, but most I take a pass on. I also remember Robotech as a kid and being amazed at the quality of animation, but now when I go back I realize that some of it just looks terrible.

Oh well. I just keep my eyes and ears open for new stuff I might like. Every once in a blue moon something good comes along...

i only saw one person do this:

do a nose dive,

blow their canopy

reach out and grab a freefalling person, and help them seat themselves.

fall out of the plane

jump back in

resecure the canopy

look back and say "ooh, pretty girl"
