Look at Macross II. I love it to death...but the majority of the Macross community doesn't. If Mr. Kawamori didn't work on the next Macross project...but the story and designs are from him, as you say, I'd accept it.

I believe it's episode 48. One website has it titled "I Want to Go Back to Where We Met!" But Adult Swim has it "Return to the Place Where We First Met."

It's also played during when Kikyou and InuYasha are holding each other in their arms...I think it's the episode before the one I mentioned. It's very mellow and soothing...I think anyway. Dunno how else to describe it. Again, thanks. =)

I'm trying to find the name of this song/acappella...I'm not sure what it is. It has a mixture of both so to say. Anyway, it's featured in the episode titled: Return to the Place Where We First Met. You hear it when InuYasha and Kagome meet up at the end of the episode. Would either of you know the name of this song/acappella? Thanks in advance.

Lol! So I'm the only one that loves Macross II.... Ah well... I've said it before...and I'll say it again: Macross II 0wnz! And Keith, so you know...when I first saw Macross II I disliked it. At the time I hadn't seen anything else Macross besides the Macross Saga. Well...the more I watched it, the more I started to love it. It just grows on ya. Glad to hear that your hate for it isn't as passionate as it used to be.

Honestly, I think M+ has better technology....the earth seems better defended and don't forget the YFs. In MII we only get to see Earth defended by capital ships and such...though the Metal Siren did have an awesome power to take out a capital ship all by itself. And no comment on the government.... Either way...Macross II still 0wnz! ...And I smell a flame brewing just cause II is mentioned...lol.

There's only 2 DVDs, right? Four Acts?

Thing is though, there was no comedy in this OVA. And thanks Druna. =)

Finally saw Samurai X tonight. Such an awesome OVA. I loved the story...even more so the music. Anyone know who the composer is? I can't say I've heard anything like the BGM I heard in Samurai X. The only thing I can think that comes close to is the BGM in Top Gun...where Maverick is mourning over Goose...and the scene with Meg Ryan all teary-eyed talking to Tom. Anyway...I like it a lot...I'd recommend it to anyone.... Either of you seen it...if so thoughts/opinions?

Could I get a mod to fix my signature so the first three lines all line up? I had to use alt 0160 for the spaces so they line up properly...as best as I could anyway. I've always thought it would be nice to have an OT forum. I seriously doubt ppl will forget about Macross and only post OT crap. I mean...we all come here cause of Macross...and unless Macross all of a sudden becomes unpopular...I dunno...go figure?

Lol. Good God. I was #307 on the old message board. I've been on this board for the longest time... I don't want to change my sig.... My signature woudln't be so big if we had Custom Titles enabled again. The two under my Macross 0wnz used to be in my Custom Title. And I'll gladly reduce the font size in my signature...I tried doing it tonight actually, before I saw this post. But I kept getting an error message saying that my sig is too long. Now I can't even change the font size. And I sure as hell don't want to take away from it. And since someone has already edited my sig could you readjust the next two lines to line up with the first one? Like it used to be? And you can get rid of the sizes on all BUT my macross ii ownz....plz! And I'm sooooo sorry that it bothers ya Duke Togo. It's starting to come to a point here on this message board where you can't express yourself at all. Tis bullshit I think. ...Maybe I should say bulls**t instead huh?

Dam kids... No kidding... So it looks like everyone thinks this movie sucks other than Oihan right? And the only thing I know about Oihan is that he likes Macross 2 (perhaps over SDF-M )... Hmmm Lol! I'm telling ya, I too was skeptical about Ashton Kutcher myself. But I went to go see it cause of the movie is about. And Ashton Kutcher ended up pulling off a serious roll. Did a damn good job of it I think. If it helps, you only get to see Ashton in the last half of the movie. And there are actuallty two ppl who like the movie so far. And as far as me liking Macross II over SDF-M...never really thought about that. Either/or really. And if you remember from AFM, I at one pt said I hated DYRL...tis not the case anymore. Anyway...have you talked to any of your friends, that have seen the movie, to see if they liked it?

So what your saying is that we should use you as a reverse-barometer for movie quality? Well...use what I like to compare to what you guys like...and use that. I mean...what if I were to think Dumb and Dumberer was the best movie in the world...and thought the Telletubbies are the best thing...and that Segal is the best actor in the world. Not a teen movie.... I'd say Scifi being the main genre with horror/suspense being the sub genre? The horror part being the trippy part of the movie....
