Looks pretty cool...I like the P-40.

Sometimes, people in this world are actually nice. You just have to have a little faith and trust. Keep yourself safe, yes ( I should know, I'm in law enforcement) but, sounds like you have someone who is just trying to get you guys in the holiday spirit.
That's a damn rare thing nowadays, and if this is the case (as I really believe it is), then I say accept it and be thankful that there are still people in this world that care and aren't psycho's.
Good luck with your gifts, and let us know how the 12th day turns out.

I loved the first one...it came at a time when Americans wanted to feel good about things, especially after 9/11. Spiderman came at just the right time, when people were beginning to move on and wanted to see something a bit uplifting.
-
I don't think this qualifies as a"prank". I believe it's being done in good nature and Holiday spirit. Also, Myriad seems to know the history of Santa's Secret Elves.
-
As disturbing as it might be, in this day and age of people doing all sorts of crazy things...I really think that this is someone or people trying to be nice to you. I have a hunch your wife is really in on it.
Santa's Secret Elves=sorta like Pay It Forward.

That is the funniest auction I have ever seen!!

Not to bash any "Firefly" fans but like I said in the past, it's an Outlaw Star/Crusher Joe rip-off but that's just me.

As if "westerns in space" is something unique to anime? The concept is as old as science fiction itself.
Yep, Firefly was no ripoff...Joss took a genre and made a good show...you don't see people whining about sitcoms being ripoffs of every other sitcom that has aired on TV before...
-
Very interesting. Ya know, I'm sorta betting that this is the doings of your wife...with help. Or some close friends.
-
I think you touched on most of the major things.
I'd like a harder difficulty though, maybe even adjustable difficulty settings. Though getting an "S" on all the stages is hard at times (Ace Combat 04 was easier in that respect), I can't recall dying more than a few times.
A Macross Plus & Macross 7 game would be terrific. Just imagine flying around in your VF-11 while watching Basara sing to the enemies you are trying to shoot down at first, then maybe doing it yourself (Jamming Birds).
For Plus, you can have the Super Nova project itself as many of the levels...imagine strafing runs, missle avoidance, etc. Then, playing as Isamu or Guld you can dogfight each other, then the Ghost. Sounds short though.
Just at the top of my head.

Possible, but not very likely.
-
I suppose the glimmer of dialogue in M7 made a lot of people who were satisfied with the 2012 ending more curious.
Though highly unlikely...if Kawamori one day decided to revisit the trio and the Megaroad...would you object?
I'm not saying this will happen or would want it to happen...just food for thought...since this whole thing is a moot point anyways.

I loved the 1st one. I want the second one, but don't know if I can find the time to play online.
-
Hilarious!
-
You have to destroy the Meltrandi ship. Hit it enough and Minmay will start singing, returning with the Zentradi just like in DYRL.
-
Hori's Ace Combat 04 stick was pretty cool. I shoulda picked it up.
-
Dissapointing that that guide is on the lame side. I agree that we will probably see a second Sega AM2 Macross title shortly.
-
I bought Castlevania a week or so ago...but I've been only playing Macross!! Without a doubt the best Macross game EVER...I suppose the Saturn DYRL comes in second.
I hope Sega will do more titles with the Macross license even if Bandai publishes them. Letting AM2 handle it was the best thing they ever did.
Something I noticed...the mission briefing screen's font and color...exactly like Ace Combat 04's...even the game screen's Target and distance font is exactly the same as Ace Combat 04's...intentional?
Was AM2's Aero Dancing's font like that of Ace Combat? I just can't recall. The similarity is uncanny.

I love SNK. I miss my Neo's. At least I'll get PS2 ports...KOF 2000 and 2001 2 in one pack!!
-
Scratch the lens and chances are your PS2 won't read discs right if at all. You can get a replacement though.
-
I haven't seen Full Throttle yet but, I admit...I want to. Guess it's like something that you know will scare you or be bad for you but you want it anyway.

Just a note for all of you guys who blew $65-$75.00 on an import:
I just got done downloading a dvdrip of this game off of IRC.
Japanese games play perfectly in US chipped consoles.
Both use NTSC format.
Grab it while you can!
Good game for a Macross title but not a great game overall. DEFINTIELY not worth $70.00
(Not worth $30 really.
That's not the point.
It's Macross and we'll buy it anyway.
Buying a "good game" and stealing a mediocre or bad one doesn't change a thing. It's like food...ever paid for a bad lunch?...you can complain, but you don't swipe it because it's "not worth it".
Of course, people have different views on this...
End of my rant...now back to the thread.
-
To everyone that said this game might suck and I said it would not...I told ya so!
Sega and AM2 pulls off what no one else has...made a GOOD Macross game.
It isn't a masterpiece but for a Macross game it's pretty damn amazing...better than lots of the dribble out there...and makes Battlecry really look poor in comparison.
Remember at that convention when they (HG and co) said that don't worry about VFX2...our game will be better than VFX2...hope they don't have to look at this.
That said, I sure hope that Bandai will be able to release this here as a Macross game, even if they have to go through HG. I'll buy it again.

I've heard that the unrated CA Full Throttle is just a few secs longer of Drew Barrymore getting beat up...dissapointing.
