Now I have a question, which has been bugging me for a bit now. I'm pretty sure that when you pronounce kanji with furigana, you use the furigana. But when you translate, do you also translate the furigana? Or the kanji? Or some kind of mix of both? I mean, why does "kokuu" have the furigana "itsuwari"?

Having said all that, I can't quite believe I wasted three hours of my life standing around watching about 15,000 sweaty, hyped-up Japanese go absolutely wild about a chick on stage (IN a chicken suit) banging silly tunes out on a piano and then singing a song. And that's not including the two hours spent lining up to buy a t-shirt that might not even fit me.

I agree with this. The most important thing is that everyone already knows that he's an unreliable source. I doubt people would continue to believe in his words the same way as before, especially if he can't produce hard evidence. Of those you mentioned, only Macross Plus as far as I know didn't have any music recorded in Warsaw. Adding to that list, Turn-A Gundam, Aquarion and Ghost in the Shell: SAC etc, are also from the same orchestra. Oh, and they're also importing the Warsaw Philharmonic for the concert on the 7th... those who'll get to watch it are so lucky

Actually, that's a generic statement too. Kanno is almost ALWAYS recording in Poland :\

... although his Twitter posts are protected, so I at least cannot look at them.

Anyway, they are calling him out on Macross Generation and other admins are distancing themselves from him already. At the moment it is "presument innocent until proven guilty", but since he hasn´t shown his face over there for two weeks and is still active elsewhere...

I think "innocent until proven guilty" applies only to people who are willing to defend themselves. For now, all hard evidence points towards his guilt, so now it's more like, "innocent until he talks". Then if that's the case, if he never talks, then he's innocent forever, isn't it?

I thought I'd run through the ED and collate the credits, and it's in the pic below. Of course Ohnogi (大野木 寛) isn't in it. Then I just realized it might be in the OP, but I couldn't make decent screenshots of that one since there's too much movement, but looks like he isn't there either.

And he says he doesn't have a scanner, so he can't post pics.

He can't go to an internet cafe with scanning service? Incredulous! I and at least 5 of my close friends have a good enough camera that can act just as good as a scanner does!

This is actually the one bothering me the most. Shaloom has gained enough respect to have so many people believe in him without even the need of showing the source of his translations. But why is Shaloom so silent right now when his words is most needed? I don't mean to be judgmental, but it reeks of guilt.
