  1. this is the best I could do with Paint. i think i made the 2 on the right too big compared to the 2 on the left. wish i had photoshop..

Yamato seems to compare favorably compared to the 2 models. I would still prefer the legs be a little wider. Gunpod seems to be the right size.

ok, see where are those from? I skipped a bunch of pages in the mioddle thinking there were no new pics!

  2. Ok, so I am getting yamatos Garland, and saw these pics of a Microman on the bike. It looked really cool, so I have been starting to look around at some of the Microman atuff out there....and frankly Im a little overwhelmed.

I wonder if i could get some advise from u folks about em. Whats cool, whats not. Whats the story, who are the heroes etc etc.

Any assistance would be great. They seem like cool toys, and i wouldnt mind getting at least one for my Garland.

    edit:

    So far this one:

    has caught my eye.

  3. Its more the cost per toy that IO find startling.

I collect TFs as well, and bought my masterpiece prime and all. But for the price of one Valk, I could buy 3 MP Primes. :)

I could buy 3 waves of Marvel Legends

i could buy....well, almost one of every GI Joe Sigma 6 toy released.

I wasnt having a go at anyone! Heck, if i could afford it Id have a squadron of VF-1s, and start a vf-0 one as well! But i see some people who have like, 20 or 30 (Or more!) and it just boggles my mind!

  4. I have 4 vf-1's in 1/48: the low viz in fighter mode, the Max and Millia 1Js in GEREALK with their FAST packs, and a 1S in Battloid I'll soon have FAST packs for. i had a Hikaru 1A but traded it.

those 4 toys cost me $1155 Australian. That doesnt take into accounr the yF-21 I traded or the 6 1/60 VF-1s i traded away. I also have a 1/72 11b with FATS packs and a 1/60 1D. So on my desk at home sits about $1500 aussie worth of toys.

And Macross is just ONE line i collect.

So, yeah, buying multiples of 1 thing just for having it in different modes is a tad tricky for me ;)

  5. sweet :) cant wait to get my 0S! Neova said it should arrive to him in August sometime, so heres hoping.

I wish i could afford to just get one or more of each type of 0 and 1...but these guys are so expensive! I cant figure out how some of u can have more than 3 or 4!

  6. i voted for the 19, because i would definitely buy it. i have the 11b., and it is my fav valk, but these are expensive toys. Id have to work hard to justify buying another scaled 11 since the one I have is so kick ass.

Still, if it looked cool enough id be hard pressedc to say no...

  7. Well yeah i know, but I seem to recall graham saying years back that the 19 is a batty to actually make work in all three modes. Then again the old bandai vf-19 held togetehr pretty well.

Im just not sure is all....who knows, maybe when my OS finally arrives ill be so excited Ill buy anything.

    My wife will be thrilled...

  8. is it wrong of me to be slightly sad its not a 1/72? id love for it to match the other macross plus versions. i suppose this means we'll see all three in 1/60 eventually...

I dunno...ill have to see some pics before i decide. i was hugely let down by the 1/72 19.

    Im feeling conflicted.

  9. This may have been answered, but frankly the thread is 67 pages long, and i havent got all that long to read em all.

When a Valk shifts modes, how does the gunpod get into the hand/ Just it just detach and the hand catches it as it extends, or does it slide out to be grasped by the hand as it emerges? And is there a control or something in the valk that decides if the gunpod stays on the arm or is in the hand? And if it is a catch, then u wouldnt wanna change while banking or something coz inertia may just flick the gunpod awaybefore the hand can catch it!
