I won't lie, I'm some what disappointed that the Arrowverse John Diggle didn't get to be a latern, or did he? Cause there was a whole area AFTER Arrow that I just completely stopped watching....Flash got boring and Supergirl just rubbed me wrong in a lot of ways by Season 4. 

yeah, Vortex looks pretty dang good. Man, I'm gonna need a really big storage tub to put away all my CW stuff and I got all of them. That kinda sucks lol. Now, I'm gonna be VERY curious how Onslaught will look. I expect that the whole lower half of his vehicle mode will be the appendages in some fashion that will just plug in when he transformers to combat truck. And we better get Blastoff as a shuttle, that disappointed me a bit that he ended up just being an Aerialbot retool.

Santa Fe PD are now ruling their deaths as suspicious. Gas company found no evidence or problems of a gas leak, their front door was ajar, with 2 of their 3 dogs found alive and healthy.

Yeah that was really out of no where, sorta. I mean he was 95, it was gonna happen sooner or later, but the means is what sucks. Very curious on what the results will be. He will be very missed. 

I first remember her in Adventures of Pete and Pete. Wow, didn't really dawn on me I was 5 years older than her, didn't feel it. 

I'll always prefer physical media. When Amazon took over the comicbook app I used all the time, I had and still have frequent issues getting them downloaded and they changed the app around making it for me very difficult to read my comics that I spent lots of money on. 
And not long ago I had an issue where I lost my digital copy of Terminator Dark Fate which pissed me off. 

K I gotta ask, how many of you guys have bought off Mercari? I was looking to add more to my Retro console collection, typed in a few just for giggles to see what they come up with cause ebay is charging an arm and a leg for a few I have interest on......and the prices are super duper lower, in some cases 50-60% difference in price. Course I'm reading the descriptions to be very careful I'm not gonna end up with a picture of a Neo-Geo CD or something along those lines. 

BUt how was the experience? did you get what you bought and all that jazz? 

Weird it's on Xbox One and PS4........consoles that've been replaced what, nearly 5 years now? Rather get it on the switch anyways, it hasn't been replaced yet lol 

Hm, it's a might, a mighty big might on the breast-force figures on the Haslab. I do like me some japanese characters, but that's also a lot of money and 300 is a bit tough right now....

maybe arms and his hips just like the CW version had an accordian joint to compress his hips closer to look less awkward. Almost wouldn't mind a little more paint breakup but then it wouldn't be animation accurate at that point.

Well considering it'll really just be him and Scrapper for several months, he'd probably be in his Robot mode for quite a considerable amount of time, which is rather an eyesore. I almost never put my TFers in vehicle mode unless I got some sorta repaint variant.

I'd like to get my hands on the 4K disc at some point, kind of looking into it right now....looks like regular ol Amazon will release it this friday but man 90 bucks. Guess that's fairly standard even with CDJapan once I pay taxes and shipping it'll be close to that amount. 

It sort of made me realize the fandub is gonna hit a 15 year mark in 2027....technically it has, the first adaption I did was in 2010, the redo I think was 2012. Wow.....man that's crazy.

The CW variant already looks far superior, I dunno why they just didn't try to do a scaled down variant like that or just used some of the same engineering ideas. Truthfully I feel like that's a tall order, with how they handle most streaming shows on their personal platform, many end up being duds with a few decent gems as episodes versus an entire series.

My biggest concern is this will be dragged out episodes where nothing much of anything happens and then it gets a rushed third act at the finale and leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth like many of their others. 

At the same time, I find myself thinking, if I don't expect anything, I can't be disappointed. I would like to see a movie or series throw us for a loop, pull something unexpected that will make you go, "aw, damn!" And I've only done that while listening to two alien novels over the last year. 1 was into charybdis when 60% of the book follows a particular character only to be killed suddenly. The other was Enemy of my Enemy which had a good build up, a real good and fun pace for its story with an ending that made me go "WHAT?!" If I could get something even close to those, I'd be giving nod and maybe even a salute.

Here's my thing though, We get a Marvel or Star Wars movie or TV series every year, sometimes multiple. In the course of not even 20 years we've had over 30+ marvel movies and a dozen TV shows, Alien has had maybe 9 movies in 46 years. I'd sooner be happy seeing a new alien property over a comic book movie or a used up property like Star Wars at this point. 

Again, I had no issues with Romulus, I'm not looking for oscar moving or an emmy or any of that crap. I wanna just sit down, and have a decent time. Cause I'll tell you one thing, it's not Star Wars, and it's not a comicbook DC or Marvel film. And that is already better in my opinion. 

Well, can't say I'm surprised by the censorship on the M7 OVA, but it's not the first time Disney has pulled this stunt either....previous marvel films and even Santa Clause have been censored after original runs. 

I've been chugging along with the episodes, pretty much finished Zero and 7, and have def been noticing subs lagging towards the end of the Macross 7 series, more specifically 48-50 were way off their timing.

I know some have been complaining about the fade to black scene cuts, I've experienced stuff like that for years, more specifically it happens on the Hulu side only, and not other streaming platforms. I think it's just something that's a bug or a glitch with hulu....not something nefarious like they're cutting scenes or censoring more than what we already know or any of that stuff. Like I'll be watching an episode of The Rookie, and bam the black screen pops up. 

I surprisingly still have my set from those days, mine were the 3 volume sets. If I recall there was a recall or something on some of those discs being prone to cracking. I haven't encountered it I believe, but it's also been 12+ years since I last popped them into any player. When my ex got into Macross starting with Frontier I had to get the old series set discs out and I think we watched it over a weekend. 

pretty much just shows that the two combiners use the exact same exo skeleton design with mold tweaks. And if that's the case it kind of puts a lil possibility we'll see G2 color schemes maybe at some point. I mean we already are with stunticons, just missing Wildrider and Motormaster. You'd think those would be done by now.....

There have been several "Panzer Dragoon" games, the impression I get is that everyone everyone wants the RPG "Panzer Dragoon Saga" but I'm not sure how sought after the others in the series are.

I remember a buddy in Highschool had Gundam Rise from the Ashes on his dreamcast, an english copy, and I managed to borrow it from him, played the game and loved it back then. Course now with a dreamcast, finding that game is next to impossible at a decent price. I THOUGHT I had found it at a local retro shop, but the owner couldn't find the disc, nor could he even give me a price or info on if it was english or japanese.

Though I could find the game in japanese and for like under 20 bucks. But it doesn't due me any good since my Japanese is very rusty these days. 
Still though, on any CD system I could find any big import game rather cheaply now versus 20+ years ago! I bought a copy of DYRL on my PS back in 2001 and it cost me 90 bucks! Now it's anywhere between 40-90. Heck, think the only Macross game I'm missing in my PS library is Plus. 

Anyways, after seeing some online reviews and youtube stuff, I decided to give eStarland a try for my retro hunting needs, I absolutely won't buy the outrageous prices DKOldies does, and my shops in town only seem to carry crap in spades. I've actually got quite the wishlist on their website, and I was very impressed with how their shop does business and thought, man, a lot of game shops need to run on this platform so purchases and trades could be way smoother.
I didn't have a lot of money, needed to be under 50 bucks so I got some of the cheapest games I could find: Devil May Cry on the PS2, Call of Duty 2 and Dead Rising on the 360, and Zelda Twilight Princess for the WIi....that one I used to own, and still have the bonus game disc and the box with manual but my girlfriend lost the main disc. 
Either way, with shipping I spent 46 bucks with 2-3 day. Just got my stuff this afternoon, looked them all over and I gotta say I was impressed with the quality these games were in. My CoD box was a lil water damaged but it was fine. All the games minus Zelda came CIB so I really can't complain. Think I'm gonna just kick back this weekend and just start playing some stuff. 

Yeah Panzer Dragoon was probably it. I know it's supposed to be a stupid expensive game on the Saturn......unless you want Japanese. Funny....if it's a Japanese saturn game, super cheap. American released Saturn game.....get a bank loan.

You mean Mylene's drugging incident by her Producer? I mean, IYKYK I guess is the internet saying. 

I just finished Zero, and truthfully it was a bit painful to watch it. The closed caption isn't that terrible, but it sure isn't fun to deal with. I kind of figure programs like 7, Frontier and Delta to be the most problematic but I guess, wait and see. 

From what I just watched, he spent the majority of the film bashing the fact that it didn't get many views, blames a lot of it on Acolyte which even with that show being canceled people STILL wanna talk about it so......yeah. But also pointed out that he thinks people won't give a rats ass about Star Wars unless it has characters everyone is already familiar with or already has a built in fanbase. Which he isn't wrong, you tend to get more enjoyment seeing characters and actors coming back repraising their roles. But I also like new content. 

And now that I'm finished with Skeleton Crew, I sort of liked it, but I'm a bit disappointed in how it ended which was rather meek. It could have used 1 more episode. 

Just got my G2 Breakdown from Amazon. Pretty much what I thought he would be, I got a lil miffed at first though cause his windows are semi translucent pearl color, while Deadend was just Silver paint. Then I remembered, Hasbro went stupid cheap on Deadend and just molded all that into him to save money whereas the other figures actually are translucent plastic. Kind of wondering though if Hasbro is gonna finish the set for Wildrider and Motormaster being the remaining to get a G2 Menasor. I have yet to see any listings and they shouldn't take so damn long on just repainting.
