I would say yes it has been released. I am waiting for mine from Nin Nin.

I also ordered the Legios reissue from Nin Nin and mine was delivered on Wednesday.  So they’re shipping them out.

When I first designed the Yamato 1/48 VF-1 adapters for Archi Stands, because Yeti Stands and adapters were no longer available, I approached Eugene about the possibility of him selling prints through his store. They would be relatively low-volume items, compared to everything else he offers, and he explained that he has limited free time to maintain the store and process orders (totally understandable). It didn't make sense to either of us to go that direction. He kindly offered to post a link to the digital files on Cults 3D so folks would at least know about them when they purchased stands. The downside of this approach is that you either have to print the adapters yourself (moderate level of experience required for them to turn out right) or go through a third party print service (which can increase the cost quite a bit and you don't know what you're going to get).

I'm in a similar situation to Eugene, where I don't have a lot of free time, so it's not practical for me to offer prints for sale. I learned the hard way from offering custom waterslide decals to this community for more than 23 years that fulfilling orders takes a lot of time. With that said, I'm willing to consider doing a print run for a small number of people. Send me a PM with what you want.

I've posted these before, but relevant again --  I had my friend print out some of @Anasazi37's adapters in a grey low-vis color to match my 1/48 Yamato and they look great with the Gokinplus stands!

Probably because nobody took them out of the box and to make room for the new stand. I'm probably wrong though.

From their Instagram, looks like it does include the squire drones.  Wish the included stand was a Trident plus though so that we could actually display the drones.

It's weird, but how come Bandai has never released a DYRL VF-1S Max toy? I don't think I've seen Yamato or Arcadia release one either and yet it's involved in one of the most iconic scenes from DYRL.

Yamato released a 1/60 DYRL Max VF-1S, both in standard and weathered version.

Since I hade some Scope Dogs when I was younger, I was wandering how good are the Hi-MetalR versions from Bandai?

Are they worth collecting or is there something better out there?

I have the Hi-Metal R Scopedog Red Shoulder Custom that came out around a year ago and I would recommend it.  I don't have any other Scopedog toys to compare it to, but it has good articulation, comes with the pilot figure that can actually sit in the pilot seat and a good array of the usual Red Shoulder Weapon loadout.

  7. So having never ordered a Metal Build that's available at retail -- are these like Bandai Macross DX VF-1s where if you didn't get into the preorder you're looking at the second hand market?  Or will there be some to purchase on the release date?

The last retail Metal Build Gundam was the Hi-Nu and that still seems to be available at retailers like Big Bad Toystore.

  8. Yeah, that's the way I look at it -- the Zeta is my favorite MS from my favorite series.  And I've never really found a good physical representation of it -- the metal robot spirits was too fragile, I had the MG 1.0 and 2.0 but I never felt that confident in posing either, I hear the RG is a hand grenade, the robot spirits figure strays too much into a stylized look, etc etc.

40,000 yen is a lot -- but maybe this is the Zeta that I've been waiting for?

I know there are sites like Buyee that lets you buy from Yahoo Auction Japan but I've never used them before. How much does it cost in fees and shipping usually for something like a DX Chogokin Valkyrie to ship to California?

In June, I purchased the DX Mechanic VF-1S from Mercari using Buyee.
The fees were 800 yen, and the shipping cost to California was 5,880 yen via FexEx.  In my case, shipping took 3 days from label created to delivery.
Overall, was very happy with the Buyee experience.

  10. IIRC the Eta Legioss was already re-released once -- were there any improvements when it was reissued?  Like loosening up the shoulders or fixing the joints on the ride armor pilot so it wouldn't fall apart so easily?

Yes hopefully it comes packaged in mobile suit form.. because I would also never transform it.  Unlike the VF series valkyries I’ve never found the alternate forms of mobile suits (Wave Rider, G-fortress, etc) to be particularly compelling.

I know it’s only the first day of the show, but any news on the pricing/release date of the Metal Build Zeta?
