I seem to remember a thread or post with somebody making a lot of recast 1/48 and some 1/60 parts including the torso side panels in different colours. Could someone please direct me back to this (if it still exists) because i cant see it in any of the toys threads. I would really like some 1/48 Max & Milia torso covers for the new set....

they will be up for some abuse, as for pose well.. I think the jury's still out on that one. They are not all that pretty due to coloured plastic they are made of (i dont think much of the Mac7 designs anyway), but if you like to customise, they can be just the ticket.

These are okay as far as cheap knock off copies go.. i have both and although not as good as the original Bandai's they are good for customizing if you pick them up cheap. I'd not pay more than $40 for both shipped, so if you're around that mark, you did ok. For a full review of the originals (will give you some idea of what to expect) see Jenius' review here -

WOOHOO!!! I just nailed both for $350 shipped!!! Yeehaw!!! does anyone know if these are to be a limited release? Stock levels suggest that they may be somewhat limited as they are a 'deluxe set' and everywhere seems to be having problems getting them or is this just me having 'new toy syndrome'?

LOL Damnit Sqidd.. you took the idea right outa my head!!!! Being a (MadManxMan) bit freindly with bikes myself , i thought of a Cyclone a while back. What u thinking of using as a base/donor bike? I looked into a vmax but to be fair it was a bit pricey and too pretty to cut up. Project is on indefinate hold.

Could someone post a link to thread where (if its still active and ongoing) we get sides for valks (the bit that you get with GBP armor). I seem to remember quite an extensive list of parts and colours.. cant find it anywhere.

Looks like theres not much choice out there for us 'non modellers'.. damnit.. i can paint, i can glue, but ask me to make and paint a model and it all goes t*ts up!!!

Three inches? Are they kidding? Is that the only size Galactica (2004) that's been made? That is way, WAY too small. Gawd, why did they even bother at that lousy scale?

Basically, I'm looking for a decent toy model of the new Galactica and also I'd like a new Basestar. Do these exist in anything larger than three-fracking-inches (pun intended)?
