  1. I don't know why many people didn't like Reloaded. I think the Matrix trilogy is very similar to the original Star Wars. Of course I wasn't around then so I don't know what people though of Star Wars. I think the first Star Wars was good and could have ended there just like the Matrix could have. Reloaded is like The Empire Strikes back because it adds to the story and sets up the final movie. Then as far as Revolution goes I feel it is like Return of the Jedi, it concludes the story even though some say it doesn't. The ending is just more open ended then some people like.
  2. I enjoyed the movie, but that doesn’t mean much coming form me I’m able to find enjoyment in just about any movie. I would give the movie a perfect 10 except for the fact I think the final fight scene was way to long. It could have been just as good if Neo and Smith didn’t fight in the air (My opinion). I think at sometime it worked, but at other times Keanu Reeves acting is just horrible. The positive side of Keanu acting is it adds some comedy to the movie. After evaluating all aspects of the movie I would give it a 9.7, but again I’m easily pleased. I will answer the questions as I understand them. Neo was able to defeat Agent Smith by sacrificing himself. The Oracle said Neo and Agent Smith balanced the equation. This makes sense because over the three movies Neo would advance his strengths and then Agent Smith would evolve. If Neo dies Smith no longer has purpose and seizes to exist. I’m not sure why the copies of Smith turned back, but I would guess he was just a string of code inside each program (person). When Smith died his string of code inside everyone became obsolete (thinking about it in a program mind the main method was no longer calling the field) in the other copies of him and returned to the original form. I don’t want to go too far into depth about Neo being carried off, but I think Neo is supposed to symbolize Christ. Christ sacrificed himself for humanity just like Neo did in the movie. I’m not very religious so I might get this part wrong, but if I remember correct Jesus was carried off by angles into the sky after he died just like Neo was taken off by the robots. Please tell me your opinions on what I just said. I don’t think there will be another Matrix unless someone gets greedy. I do think Neo is dead at the end, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he is resurrected. I’m not sure what will happen to the Matrix, but I don’t think they will take everyone out because not everyone is ready to give up their surroundings. I have mixed feelings about this because I think it might symbolize how fake the world is. This link might explain what I’m trying to say a little better. Link I won’t comment on the face of the robots to much yet, but EXO explanation sounds good for me. I will have to watch Reloaded and Revolution again, but I think the architect in side the Matrix and the head honcho of the robots might be linked.
  3. I agree, I take every series as it own and love each one for its originality.
  4. I don't know how long it takes to make a series? It was about a decade from the original SDF Macross and Macross 7, so I'm guessing if the new series isn't Macross there will be one to follow shortly. (I think SDF Macross around 1984-85 and Macross 7 1994-95)
  5. I change my vote. That would be cool. It would allow for a completely new set of characters. At the moment I would like something new. I don’t want to see Max and Millia again, maybe later.
  6. Straight from the compendium, folks. Thanks Radd! I am not sure how I missed that bit! That definetly answers my questions! I really need to learn to be more patient and read everything before asking a stupid question! Thanks! That was a stupid question, just kidding. I wasn't even thinking about that question, but because you asked it I now know the answer to the question. So thanks for asking the question.
  7. I had to go with Macross 7 because I love just about every song Basara sings and some of the songs Mylene sings.
  8. I agree that it was a dumb idea, but I think the Macross 5 fleet was forced to the ground much like the Macross 7 fleet. The message was probable sent before they landed or before the rest of the fleet was ambushed and forced to the ground. That’s what I think happened.
  9. As far as Macross 7 goes I have to quote Isamu Dyson when he is in the jungle talking to Myung. He tells Myung to try the fruit; she takes a bit and spits it out. He then says to her, "you wouldn't have known until you tried it yourself." The only difference is I think Macross 7 is a work of art.

    New CG

Wow! I've been looking at some of the CG posts and am amazed. I was wondering what it would take to get started in making CG models. Any information would be great.
  11. Max was just breaking the Meltran down form the inside.
  12. He is talking about Macross 7. One thing I liked about Macross 7 was the fact they played music from Sharon in the background. The reason is because Macross 7 takes place shortly after Macross Plus. Sharon's music was still being played even in on the other side of the galaxy.
  13. I loved Macross 7, but as you can see there are always two or more sides. I always hate when finish watching the series because I always want more. I would have to say the series gets better the further you get in. I would suggest watching it, it sure open my mind to new things.
  14. Nakajima (the head engineer) says to Roy that the Zero eats a lot of fuel. The engines being used are EGF-127, because the thermonuclear engines didn't make it in time. Roy also points out that the armour is as strong as a tank (weight).
