Hey David. Congrats on getting 3. Sorry again if my order didn't push thru and I didn't stay super late to wait for other stores. Which I think I will if Bandai announce the other Hikaru rides. Depends on which people you're referring to. The sellers whose desperate to earn big bucks? Or the buyers whose desperate to get one?

I'm in California. I don't remember BBTS charging me for sales tax ever since. My last order didn't have any. I'm assuming, there's no sales tax from Wisconsin. Unless you bought something from California, then there will be sales tax. To be honest, at the beginning I tried to preorder 2 from them before. In which I cancelled when the Japanese store posted theirs weeks after since I find ordering from them for 2 bikes is atleast $20-30 cheaper. And that's a big thing. From BBTS if you order 2 bikes, your total is $402. Whereas at HLJ since they have Ley's bike in stock I can check their shipping options. For EMS, it will be Y41490 ($372.16*). For FedEx Economy, it's Y42050 ($377.18*). And for DHL Express, it will be Y42980 ($385.52*). And this is a good reference if ever I decided to place an order with them again for Yellow's bike. And assuming that it will stay in that Y19000 price range as Ley's. *As of today's currency (4/8/2019) as per XE.com.

I think it's more practical to order abroad if you're planning on getting atleast 2. It's why I'm still waiting to see the prices abroad before I decided on getting it at BBTS.

Like I mentioned last night, at this point of doing this preorders, I don't mind paying the whole thing upfront now as long that they will deliver. They need to do this like made to order type of thing based on how many paid or how many are committed to buy and made deposits. And not do like pay upfront and limit the production like the Kairos. Bandai really need to change this. They're already aware of scalpers. What happened to the Metal Build Eva-01 should already be a red flag to them. They don't need fans to bug creators in order to ask Bandai for a second round of preorder. Now, should we need to bug Kawamori for this?

What are the chances that Macross fans will bug Shoji Kawamori to ask Bandai to do a 2nd preorder like what the Evangelion fans did to Ikuto Yamashita on the shortage of Metal Build Eva-01 during release to have a 2nd preorder?

They don't get more sales that way. In order to meet this kind of demand is ask everyone to pay upfront. Because, the risk of Bandai here is that they make a lot to meet the demands of preorder, but after a few months, people starts to cancel. What's going to happen? Everything will be put on sale. So at this point, not sure if pay upfront (kind of made-to-order) is the solution for all this preorder madness.

At this point, I think it would be nice to remove the warning on Nin-Nin. I have an order of VF-4 with them and they got delivered a few days after. And knowing that stuff keeps on getting happening across the sites during PO madness, even on the most reputable ones, I think it's just fair. Besides, members didn't had a problem placing an order with them earlier so who knows?

Actually, I’m not sure why I’m still up. Hahaha! But I’m glad I did because I saw Jenius post in the Mospeada thread of new photos of the upcoming Sentinel’s Yellow Ride Armor. What a lovely. Will probably focus more my budget on that one.
