Tried to see if the visor is removable on mine, didnt find a way to remove mine

I did hear some people saying that the 262 have the thumbs broken off when transforming back to fighter mode. I too transform it thru all 3 modes once and back to fighter where it sits now

Interestingly, I have 3 of these sets which I don’t use much now, I think I bought them off some chinese website that has since stop producing these, I wonder how close are they to the real missles that came with the 171 armour set

 Its nice that the left wing doesnt pop out this time, but I have issues with the vertical stabilizer popping out a lot and the right intake side cover pops out very easily

Other than that, this is yet another beauitful piece.

The problem is, the resale value of the 1D here in Singapore is pretty bad, and no one from the US wants to buy my stuff due to the high shipping

I hear you man, I myself couldnt justify buying the whole VF-1D for the fan racer, so I didnt, I know I will regret that decision, but at least i saved some money

You can use DEjapan, I used them to get my TV supers, I paid 8800yen for them when I 1st ordered, they charged me 600yen fees and 1800yen EMS shipping to Singapore, not sure if they can do other types of shipping, but you can always email them. They are very responsive and I was surprised how little on top of the actual price they charged me.

This is a VF-1J, it does not come with the extra piece like the Roy VF-1S, at this point I am more worried the stand might break one day

I have been displaying my VF-1J in fighter mode on the special display stand at 30 deg right bank sinc eI 1st got it, yesterday my tv supers finally arrived from dejapan and I went to install the parts and put it on the same stand with the new attachment piece and I realized that my stand seems to have twisted a bit and it not has a 5-10 deg bank to the right. Were the stands shipped straight to begin with?

Wow so much nostalgia these toys/models invoke, my brother used to build all of these when I was barely 10 or younger, that was like more than 30 years ago. 

I thought they just released the updated YF-29, is this a re-release of the updated version?

One pf the vf-31 come with the reaction missle as standard too, I think it was vf-31S

I think the shallower angle is more for the super parts when they come, I tried putting the super parts with the 30 deg bank on my 1J and it will tip over easily without adding counter weights to the base

That said, I notice the skull on the heat shield of Roy’s 1S seems off center, are all copies llike that, as I don’t seem to have that issue with my Hikkie 1S

Also, do you think its possible to 3D print the extra adaptor piece to get the 15 deg bank angles, as I did not get a Roy, since I could not get it at MSRP, and most likely will never. but still would like the shallower bank angle, will a 3DP piece be able to work?

Thanks for the explanation, its much clearer now, how they achieve the less banking angle, or more if you want.

Quick question about the special stand, is it the same as the one for the VF-1J execpt for the text, or the points of banking is more/different. I have not gotten mine as I don’t think I want to feed scalpers at this point, even for $30-50 more.
