    NY responded to my request to switch to Ferry and updated the shipping method. I haven't received a preparation in progress notice yet. They gave me a 4700 yen coupon for the store. Was hoping to just get that money back, but meh. Now we will see how long it takes them to actually send it.

    After NY told me they were holding off on shipping until EMS is available again, I asked them if I could change my shipping method. They responded that I could pay an additional 13000+ yen to upgrade to UPS (after paying 8700 up front for EMS a year ago) or downgrade to Ferry for a 4700 yen credit. This is for 5 S/S Part sets. I said I would like to switch to Ferry. Its been over a year, whats another 3 months?

    They didn't offer that but I guess I can ask, you know, on top of the 8700 Yen they wanted for EMS shipping up front. I paid this (for 5 sets) a year ago, in the opening moments of the first batch of S/S parts, that should have been sent to me when they released at the end of 2019. Never would have got caught up in the COVID shipping issues. I guess I can just wait, and in theory, someday they will send me my $500 worth of merchandise. End gripe. @sqidd your shelf displays are looking good! I thought I was the only lunatic displaying multiple DXs

    I got a response from NY: "Hello Thank you for your message We apologize if we were unable to send your order upon release of the product. We cannot send orders by EMs to USA due to the restriction of Japan post So for the moment, orders are on pause. As soon as we can send again, we will honor your order. Please don't hesitate to send another message if you need anything else. Kind Regards Nippon-yasan.com Customer Service"

    Yeah hopefully just generating income to fund new releases and keep themselves going like the GBP set. I don't think the last M&M releases ever sold out though.

    I politely asked NY about the S/S parts that I ordered almost a year ago. Curious to see what they say.

    @sqidd your Strike Parts on the Low Vis VF-1A are looking good. I have been wanting to do this to mine for awhile but have yet to get around to it. Was waiting until I get an airbrush but some quality hobby spray paint looks to work just fine. Funny you should mention the breaking Super/Strike parts. The last two 1/48 S/S sets I bought had this problem too. They were a bit more green in color than my good sets, and some of the pegs snapped off when I tried to gently install them; arm tabs and the pegs for the leg parts too. Hoping I can make one good set out of the two. Now I am a little hesitant to buy any more. Not sure how many sets floating around out there have aged poorly

    I have a spare one to put on Kakizaki when his VF-1A comes out in August, so the wait isn't a huge deal. We may not even see another DYRL release this year. Just very questionable service.

    I have yet to hear from NY. Don't know if I should let them contact me when they are ready, or nudge them and ask about changing from EMS to UPS shipping. My order contained 5 Super/Strike parts so it's possible they will push it to the end of the list. I ordered them in the first batch within hours of them being posted on the site. How they handle this determines if I ever use NY again

    They added leg screw hole fillers too. Wonder if that includes the arm ones. They were a nice touch on the M&M releases. If the armor is installed they will be kind of pointless though. Still wishing for a PF set

    I would love to get an Arcadia VF-19kai. They tend to go for $400+ if they even show up for sale anywhere

    Got super excited for this until I realized it wasn't PF. More likely just trying to generate some easy income for them, but maybe the PF is to follow like they did with Max and Miriya?

    Man, that's a bummer. It's good that EMS is still accepted but I wonder if that will eventually stop too.

    I gave in and got one through Kurama Toys (Bandaionline) which I had forgotten all about. $218 usd...not a terrible price I guess.

    Oh yeah if Arcadia is going to release these I would much rather support them. I can see them releasing the CF, but the Angel Birds seems like a stretch. The price point on the KOs is kinda high for the subpar quality. Still an interesting development.
