  1. Because for one thing the canopies were never tinted on the original VF-0 releases, and Yamato won't be giving the canopies a plated finish anymore because they are a PITA to apply.
  2. Have not yet, all good though, I prefer the thrill of the hunt and have been buying other figures lately too.
  3. Also Hasbro CONFIRMED that it's only going to be $100 like initially rumored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly I think I will end up liking this thing more than my AT TE, BMF, and Turbo Tank. FINALLY will be able to recreate scenes from ESB! (I don't have an AT AT, skipped the old ones!)
  4. Hehe no idea man. I do think however, if All Go Toys makes one(which would be cool to see another company's take on the 1/18 Tomcat), I can see them making a much more accurate version.
  5. Star Wars 2010 AT AT Revealed *BTW no you no longer have to sign in/log in at Toyark to view images*
  6. I hope they don't spot this up: JSI 1/18 F-14A Tomcat S2 Possible IRIAF Repaint
  7. G.I. Joe Fall 2010 Packaging Pre Production Sample - GI Joe News
  8. He said bad ass not ugly. Jokes aside, I think the avionics suite on the JSF is very impressive, in fact, that's what impresses me most about it.
  9. Storm Shadow To Play An Even Bigger Role In G.I. Joe 2 Hell yeah!
  10. How is the articulation and do you think Legends Devy is worth picking up?
  11. That Bruticus set is only $20, which is cool. Need to see more pics though. Hoping that a decent Hotspot with Protectobots(Defensor) team is released. As for the Prime you mentioned, it is a vehicle with pop out weapons, that's the part Bay liked I believe.
  12. Russia can barely afford planes for themselves, so I suspect sales would most likely go to India once again(who not only operate the most advanced Flanker to reach mass production; SU-30MKI, but also bought a carrier off of the Russians and are getting the navalized Fulcrums to go with it).
  13. Honestly man I'd rather pony up and pay $30 more for the upcoming VF HI-METAL. The Toynami looks good and poses well and battroid, but mine have cracked insertion points all over the place(or do they call these poly caps? They are the parts that the peg joints plug into made out of soft plastic). It's great that the toy is mainly made out of ABS and for Toynami, actually priced affordably, but that's the primary thing going for it. I think the VF HI-METAL version will turn out much better. It already looks much better, and with Bandai, the materials will more than likely be superior to Toynami's.
  14. Thanks for the very informative and objective review man. Don't know if I will pick one up...
  15. The Baroness in the IDW comics is the best one so far, infinitely better than the movie version.
  16. That sounds like the Skystriker from G.I. Joe Resolute, which was a YF-23 with canards.
  17. Great work man!
  18. Hell yeah, thanks man! Definitely will pick this up eventually. Maybe the various Sengoku Basara games too.
  19. For the Angel Bird, I'm not sure if Yamato is willing to take that risk. If you'll remember, the 1/48 Angel Birds 1A was on clearance SEVERAL times within recent years, and even now you can find it for up to 3000 yen less than the MSRP from etailers overseas. That version was not a hot seller at all. It doesn't help that the Angel Birds valk wasn't unique aside from color scheme, was from the TV series which in Japan is arguably less popular than DYRL?, was not piloted by any of the main characters, nor was it seen in combat(because it is a air show demo plane in the series). Sure the tooling on the TV 1A's might be done in 1/48 scale but those were also hand painted IIRC. As for the Destroids, tooling is done yes, but no new parts were made for those; they are just repaints.
  20. Is this game region locked? I have a PSP-3000 and was wondering if I would be able to play it with no mods. Also, I saw a vid where someone had all the gauges and displays SUBBED in English. Is this an option in game or do you have to download something for it?
  21. Anyone buying the upcoming 1/48 RX-78-2? I'm interested in buying that monster(and also the 1/35 FIX figure). Anyone know if the 1/48 RX-78 will have ABS and internal frames?
  22. To be quite honest, I have the Arbalest and think the M9 figures look better. Arbalest is a great RD figure, however the M9's have more weaponry, and unique sculpts so I think they look better. The Arbalest was one of my first 2 RD figures and it feels so much higher in quality than an MSiA! figure. I just wish it was as articulated as the 7 Swords Gundam(which I bought alongside it).
  23. Storm Shadow isn't dead. Last year, his agency announced that he would be working on sequel(s) starting as early as this year(or was it late last year?). Sommers has gone onto say that Storm Shadow did not kill the Hard Master. In the movie adaptation by IDW, Storm Shadow tells Snake Eyes in their last battle that he did not kill the Hard Master. The guys who wrote Zombieland and are writing the upcoming Deadpool movie are also writing G.I. Joe 2. Not to mention, Paramount has mentioned several times last year that they were going to make a sequel. Also, IDW is launching OPERATION HISS this month, a comic that takes place after Rise of Cobra, in which Storm Shadow returns. There is also a cartoon planned for OPERATION HISS this year.
